I remember when my mom bought our new family PC in 2007-8ish, bundled with Windows Vista was HP Games / Wildtangent. Some way or another you could get free "wild coins" to play games you would otherwise have to pay for (i think whenever we bought HP printer ink, we got free coins). Anyway, it would give you like an hour to play and I would always love this game, I think it was American Long Haul. Would play for a while and then it would just kick me out for running out of time. I'd love to revisit all those games we would play
Man I really miss these. Pedal to the Metal and Accross America were my favourites. IT seems that SCS hit a goldmine with ETS2 and aren't planning on creating anything new.. I know there s ATS, but that game feels nothing like what 18 WoS felt like..:(
So many memories.. I played Across America a lot as a kid with a Microsoft Sidewinder wheel and was so happy whenever I saw that a new WoS game was released, but I still kept going back to AA every now and then Kinda petty but I remember being annoyed because the steering wheel in Haulin turns so much more than in previous games so my real life wheel didn't match it's motion anymore And man Convoy felt like such a big leap back then. It's crazy how much games have evolved though. Even ETS2 has evolved from updates so much, like the jump between ALH/ETS/ETS2 didn't ever feel too crazy but going back to ALH now it feels extremely dated
