tinwoods, the problem with Affleck's Batman, is that he strikes fear for all the wrong reasons. Criminals fear him because he will most likely kill them. That's not how Batman should be. Batman strikes fear into criminals because they know that he is not like them. Because he believes in morals, and he is courages, and will bring justice on them. Affleck's Batman has none of that.

Michael Keaton is my favorite Batman. Compared to Christian Bale; he’s a lot more like able as Bruce Wayne, and a lot more threatening as Batman. I could mention Ben Affleck, but the one thing both Keaton and Bale’s Batman has that Affleck’s doesn’t is a good movie.

Nebeno they've actually gotten Batman pretty right so far. This is post Jason Todd, and in the comics this was a period were Batman started getting more violent, sinking deeper into the darkness each day until Tim drake came along. The same thing seems to have happend to batfleck. Just switch Tim drake with superman.

It's less of him killing, and more of him acting in a manner less like a detective. Comics Batman would dig extremely deep into what happened in the Courthouse, he would stop at nothing to find the truth. Also, Batman could've talked to Superman first- in the comics, Batman's not just a brute who punches hard- he'd at least try to negotiate.

I think you overestimate yourself, because Affleck's Batman is so controversial, there is definitely not millions of you, people who admire him. "And that would be the 6'5" five brutally muscled version Affleck gave us" But if those muscles have no brain behind them, what is the point of them? And that is what Affleck's Batman lacks. "Comparatively speaking, he makes Bale look like Emo Batman." Isn't Affleck's Batman "Emo Batman" himself? Like, he has no charisma as Bruce Wayne. He's always downbeat and always looking at the world through the eyes of a pessimist. Seems pretty "Emo" to me.

Dende The White Mage but I think that that inconsistency adds to his character. I believe he wants to kill the criminals but he refuses to because he cannot sink to their level. There's a great moment in Endgame (which is an arkham city sequel comic) where the joker murders thousands of men, women and children, and batman, after apprehending him, has to walk him back through all the corpses of the people he's killed. But still, after seeing that, Batman can't bring himself to take the joker's life. It may be an example of weakness and cowardice or strength of character - batman is a flawed individual after all - but having him kill a bunch of petty crooks in a car chase as Snyder did turns batman from a fully realised character into The Punisher in a bat costume.

Yonathan Berhanu not really. Bale's defends his stance well in that he will not directly kill (apart from that one time he literally guns down that bus driver in TDKR) but he will not save either. However, both iterations have problems. My issue with BvS was that it was a poor characterisation of batman mixed in with an overall boring plot and fairly disappointing (save for the warehouse scene) action. At least , for all the faults with the characterisation of Keaton's batman, the film around it was pretty good. Also Keaton's batman was coming off the campiness of the 1960s batman so it had to prove itself to be darker material. BvS was coming off the fantastic Dark Knight trilogy so it didn't. Batman was already a well established and beloved character amongst movie audiences. Basically, any batman that kills is an inaccurate batman, as with Keaton's and affleck's. Bales is different in that he does kill but generally not deliberately - you can explain away most of his murders as being accidental which makes him not a perfect comic-to-film representation of the character but the best one we've had so far. Apart from, as I say, the bit where he guns down the driver of the van which was out of character and stupid.
