Nintendo kicks her out of many games because of fear for her controversy of being referred to as transgender in Mario bros 2. But most people don't know that and people love her so, doesn't make much sense trying to censor her.
Now that Birdo is back into Mario Kart we might be able to see all Mario characters return in the Mario Kart series which includes Donkey Kong Jr, Paratroopa, Petey Piranha, Funky Kong, Wiggler, and Honey Queen.
Birdo returned for Mario Kart, but as a luck-based rare. If she gets her own game, she would have some interesting voice lines. Kazumi Totaka did a good job setting up her voice, but the poor thing with her is being not for sale.
Birdo is one of the most underrated female characters. She never appeared on the Wii U games and she especially never became a playable character in Mario Bros or Mario 3d World.
birdo and yoshi have always been my favorite characters from the franchise but it sucks that she appears so little. the one reason why i never bought mario kart 8 is because birdo wasn't in it despite being in the previous installment and in mario kart tour... hope she gets added to it/other games in the future!
Honestly they should've just recycled the voice clips from Mario Kart Double Dash or Wii because she sounds extremely uninterested and barely audible in Mario Kart Tour

Birdo was the best in mario kart wii It sucks how she's not in mario kart 8 also why does She / He sound lifeless in double dash and tour its like Nintendo doesn't care about birdo at all. I'm still hoping this character is upcoming DLC for mario kart 8 deluxe or really hoping the character is Mario Kart 9.
Birdo is my favorite Mario character. We love equality ^w^ (If you didn’t know, birdo was originally a trans female, but they changed her to a drag queen later on.)
