MK 7, DS, and Wii versions are the most legendary rainbow roads of all time

My favorite is the DS because it was my first Mario kart game plus it introduces loops into the course, also I remember doing a glitch falling of it and flying into space

wow i’m surprised some people are talking about the game cube ver. i love that one so much! literally the first mario kart i’ve ever played. that one is the most nostalgic for me

The SNES one is perfect. No wonder it came back on many times after. I remember playing it when it came out. There was nothing like it. This music was great, the track itself was kind simple but made you stay on the edge because it was so easy to fall of. A masterpiece!

Mario Kart Wii is very special to me. When i was 5, one of my best friends was moving away. before he went, he gave me his extra wii and mario kart wii. i used to play this ALL the time, always playing as baby peach. good ol days.

Rainbow Road 64 (original)'s the most visually appealing. It's certainly not the best RR racing track, but visually speaking I prefer the RRs with vertical stripes over those with horizontal stripes (I know horizontal gives more of a sense of riding the rainbow, but vertical just looks better), I like that the colors don't blend into each and also aren't blocky, and then there's of course that simple yet great background with neon images of the characters that really pop out in the darkness of space.

I'll never forget the Gamecube my man Me and my Friend would play Double Dash for hours on end dispite not having a memory card, Those were some grear times I tell you.

Double dash and 7 are my favorites but 64 has the best theme

N64 will always be my favourite. Too many memories. The different sections being their own lap in 7 was an amazing idea that deserves a lot of credit though.

N64, Wii, and both the N64 and SNES remakes on the Switch were the best rainbow roads in my opinion. Sidenote: Seeing the Switch really shows how the graphics have evolved over the decades; it looks fantastic

I always thought the Wii version was the hardest 😂😂😂 I hope none are confused with the Mario Kart 7 one at 7:42 because that was the first Mario Kart game where some tracks were done as 'sections' instead of a laps around a small circuit.

I remember setting a record on the DS version. I beat that record held by one of the testers who put it in there. (Anybody remember those?) Then I proceeded to beat my own record. Both by about a second if that.

0:42 I remember my sister glitching at that part whilst she was using a golden mushroom and she just kept on falling and didn’t wanna be respawned 40sec later so she just kept on pressing the button using the mushroom and skipped half of the course 😂 Wii one is the most fun one especially if you know jo to skip parts but the N64 one was my first Mario Kart so it’ll always have a special place in my heart :) (we used to go over to my neighbour who was in her 50s and her children were already out of house just to pet her dog eat sweets and play this on her kids old N64.. simpler times)

I grew up with the DS rainbow road and it was really weird to younger me with all the twists and turns lmao

I love all the rainbow roads but I feel like mkwii and mk7 (especially mk7) did a good job at showing what a rainbow road is I also really like the mk8 with all the technology and stuff that’s cool

Rainbow Road of N64 will always be my favourite. Some of the best times of my childhood was playing on Mario Kart 64 and defeating all who dared race me. SNES RR was also nice and very challenging for me. MK Double Dash is cool even though I never played it. Thanks to whomever posted this video.

That Wii course is a place of memories But also torture, a lot of torture.
