The Thwomps had their own track in MK8. It's called Thwomp Ruins and it's inspired by the Aztec ruins in South America.

N64 Bowser’s Castle used to be my favorite, but after playing 8 for a while Mario Kart 8’s is my favorite. The music, the visuals, the obstacles, the designers did an incredible job with every Mario Kart 8 track, and that definitely includes Bowser’s Castle.

What? No, I've played the game, and I know this is an SFX that effectively plays at the start of every round because you are going through the mouth of the bowser-gate. Btw, how can a dry bowser have a star in the start of the first lap? Where's the star music? Edit: I'm an idiot and didnt check the timestamp, yes, that's a creepy dry bowser laugh

My favorite track in the entire series is Bowser's Castle from Double Dash. I feel it was the best at making me feel like I'm going in the koopa king's castle. Oh and it had my favorite music too!! I would LOVE for it to return in MK8 Deluxe.

*FUN FACT* On Bowser's Castle 2 in Super Mario Kart you can in fact do that jump on that path where it says "STOP" if you use a Feather, but only if you are on your Top Speed, and I highly recommend being 150cc for this.

Anyone else look and realize that the GameCube and Wii’s Bowser castle have some similar track design? The bowser in the beginning and the fireball breathing bowser (though the Wii one had more movement) are practically the same in each game.

SNES: noice that it has 3 N64: almost demonic GBA: similar to SNES lmao GCN: man, nice theme and track. Thwomps are similar to Wii DS: epic course (similar to GCN kinda) Wii: Awesome track. Lotta fun and similar to DS and GCN 3DS: nice track, sucks that it has 2 thwomps though. I heard part of the theme of the GCN one Wii U: no thwomps in there, surprising. Epic track though, similar to 3DS Switch: same with Wii U App: cheaply made and most expensive? Am I a joke to you all, I have none XD

For some strange reason I love the background of each courses in Super Circuit. The fact that you see it but it always stay at the same distance is so weird but awesome at the same time... I know I'm weird haha

Who at Nintendo was so fond of bringing back GBA Bowser’s Castles? Aside from N64, I can’t think of a BC from any other Mario Kart that came back later, and even it had to return alongside a GBA one!

Mksc: i can explain Mkwii and smk: you have 7 bowser circuits and we have only 3 bowser circuits! Mkds and mk7 : what about me we have only 2 bowser circuits Mk8 mk64 and mkdb: because you guys have more than 1 bowser castle???
