In the comics (yes ik game sonic is completely different from comic sonic), sonic became so powerful practically nothing could beat him- but he was bored with this type of lifestyle. So him and Eggman silently agreed to a sort of unhealthy relationship where sonic would almoooost let eggman win just for excitement

Plot twist: when Eggman first jumped in the robot, he didn’t stay in it. He left through a secret exit before it rose out of the ground; hence his return despite the Death Egg’s explosion.

It is easier not only because of rings but also - less HP -no leg hurtbox -small hills to jump higher. - one of his attacks literrally builds a bridge so you can hurt him.

The Death Egg Robot is quite a gem in the Sonic series, but I feel like maybe it's a little overused as Sonic pointed out. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I'd just like to see more original creations from Dr. Eggman. Nonetheless, The Death Egg Robot is probably one of Eggman's best creations! ❤

Imma gonna say this again. The English name of the final boss that appears in S3&K's Death Egg Zone 2 is Egg Emperor mk. II, the giant Death Egg Robots that appear in the destroyed city are clearly the same machine. Since it is named Egg Emperor mk. II, Sonic 2's final boss is the mk. I. The Doomsday Zone boss is The original Death Egg Robot with a new attachment. Sonic Heroes's Egg Emperor would count because of S3&K's Egg Emperor mk. II. I believe the Egg Breaker may or may not count. There are also some similar machine that appear in the Archie comics sush as issue 175 and the Egg-Wily Machine X. However I don't think it would be appropriate to put comics in this compilation.

Sonic 2, Sonic Generations, and Sonic Mania death egg fights are my favorite out of the rest of them in my opinion

I still believe to this day that if Sega made the avatar levels in Forces on-rail shooters like their original arcade games it would have worked better for the setting instead of “silent protagonist has a gun and a grappling hook but has beat-em-up levels and gameplay”.

The Death Egg Robot from Sonic Forces was extremely disappointing. Such a cool, massive, world ending robot taken down without trouble in less than five minutes. And without taking a single damage. Sooooooooo disapointing...

Forces reuses a lot of things for their bosses. The Metal Sonic boss fight and one of the Infinite ones are exactly the same Another one of the Infinite fights is just a level from Lost World (uses the exact same bumpers and everything) and this fight was just the Nega Wisp Armor, even though I enjoyed it. And like the design of it. Only the second phase of course.

I hate it when people skip over the Final boss of Sonic 3 and the true final boss of that game as well. I know they're not exactly the same, but they also technically are... EDIT: What?! Those aren’t chaos emeralds, he just has a weird machine in his ship that looks like a hole for chaos emeralds. The Phantom Ruby is just as powerful as all the emeralds.

I made up a game called "Sonic Rewind" The problem in this game is The Phantom Ruby goes haywire after a while when the Sonic Forces final boss is done. And then the Rotten Ruby does the same thing as the Phantom ruby and looks at a fast slideshow of all the sonic stages and then completely demolishes all the badniks and then it turns them into Power Robo versions of themselves. And then gets rid of all of Sonics friends. And when I was trying to say is the final boss of Sonic Forces is way more easy then the final boss in Sonic Rewind.

The Sonic Forces Final Boss looks awesome as heck, but was it really necessary to call it the Death Egg Robot? Personally, I would've called it the "Ultimate Egg Monger", but that's just me.

I think its because the bot uses the phantom ruby as its power source, and the phantom ruby is responsible for the mass production of the death egg robot hence the robot with the phantom ruby is the primary death egg robot That or they couldnt think of a good name since they didnt have enough time so they named it death egg robot
