@@lenengquist592 Imagine a dlc where he's trying to establish peace between Inklings and Octarians, only for a rouge group of Octarian extremists trying to rekindle the war
I noticed in the first two games, all Octobot Kings are designed with both aesthetics and flare in mind. Especially in the second game, it's less of a war machine and more a device for a public execution. In the third game, the Octobot King L3GS is much more spartan and rugged. Fit for actual combat. In aesthetics, the first two look like shinto shrines. While the third is a football helmet with legs. And he's wearing a tactical helmet
Yeah, I really love that new helmet of his, gives him this desert ops look while still retaining SOME elements of the OG traditional Japanese samurai helmet he wore in the first game!
I wish Callie would occasionally jump in the arena with her roller to fight you in Splatoon 2, including the bombs and the fist from Octobot, and in final phase he should call in his flying troops
I understand that this was an idea that was going to be had, but that in the end it was changed or discarded, I think that because the thing with Callie and Marie was a personal issue (according to what I have heard), but the truth is that it would have been good to see as she also interacted more against Agent 4, and not only the Splat Bombs (since in the battle it was made to be understood that the Splat Bombs were attacks coming from Callie, unlike the other attacks that came from Octavio, even if they all the attacks were made by the Octobot King II, I understand that)
I hope he gets a bigger role in the DLC. He had a stupidly low amount of screentime in the main story mode, so it would be awesome if he's a major character, or even the guide!
If only Octavio was a character that you could talk to, in splt1-2 he's just looking at you in his snowglobe While in splt3 he's not here ? Probably in the milk store
As much as people say that the Splatoon 2 boss fight is the worst of the three, I think it has a lot of really good elements to it that the others don't have, like the music, cutscenes, background audience filled with light-stick-waving octarians and the Rainmaker section. It just lacks difficulty.
The music is definitely amazing, Tidal Rush is still one of my favorite Splatoon tracks of all time. But it's a really watered down version of the fight in 1. It even gets overshadowed by octo shower in terms of difficulty which is disappointing for a final boss
@@MewGamer-bj9inhe never was a villain really because reminder the octoling civilization in splat1 and 2 was on the verge of collapsing due to high energy demand due to being trapped underground with barely any ways to generate electricity
Honestly I liked all of his fights. They all felt great in there own way. Unpopular option: I enjoyed Splatoon 2’s final boss more than Octo Expansion’s “final boss” (Tartar, not Agent 3)
Well He technically.. Was Never Bad? think about it he did it to save his kind “ERMM ACTUALLY HE STOLE CALI THERFORE E-“ no He could have stolen cali for morality reasons
Given where the Octavio boss fight is in the game, It’s safe to say it’s better than the Splatoon 2 fight. But not better than his original rumble. Still great improvement in 3 compaired to 2
What's better in the 1st Octavio? I'm curious, since I don't have WiiU but from what I see here, there doesn't seem to be much variance in attacks, isn't that hard to do, and lasts too long. I found myself getting surprisingly bored.
[SPOILERS] … Now that I think about it… mr. Grizz’s battle is oddly reminiscent to The first battle with octavio. Down to the: -Octopedos -killer Wails -summoning other Octarians -having to actually move around to reach the boss -not meeting the villain until the very last moment
@@probenfetchak8076 he's floating in the space idk if he needs to breath so maybe survived but now is basically vector from despicable me, trapped in space
I am so glad they went with a middle ground between both localisation dialogues. Europe felt too unnatural for a DJ, while America felt too unnatural for a former military leader. Now we all have America's version but toned down ever so slightly.
When I was starting splat 3 blind and I saw Octavio was the first boss. I was getting Sonic adventure vibes and thought it was gonna end up being like fighting Octavio just in different machines over and over again. I was happier with what we got instead
I think that Octavio from the Original is the coolest one. It’s not fighting in a circle but on a real full level where you have to chase him. If only future Octavio fights were more complex.
I suspect you can thank marina for the boss fight in the first game. She's likely responsible for all mechanisms in the stage. In 2 she's no longer part of the octarian army so the boss fight is naturally down-graded because he doesn't have access to her genius anymore to keep upgrades coming. Octavia in 3 is at his base--no zapfish or marina to buff him.
I mean, he wasn't the bad guy at all, in the first 2 games he wanted electricity back for his people. And in the third he was worried because some of them were kidnapped :(
Man, I gotta wonder what it's like for the octoling version of (new) Agent 3 to have to beat up their former commander. How would your average octoling kid feel about Octavio? Marina was a high-ranking military engineer who worked on octarian superweapons and has clear regrets about her time in the military. Did octoling Agent 3 have similar experiences before reaching Splatsville?
I’m honestly not really sure if that’s the case. I mean, yea, Octavio helped us out at the end, but at the same, he most likely did it out of realizing “oh crap if Grizz wins, there won’t BE a future for my people.”
Octavio having a hate-love relationship whit the Calamari inkantation i soooooooooooooooooooooo goooood!!! And cute!! He is even moving like me while listening to that song xd
I think the L3GS is the onw that finay fixes Octavio's big reflection weakness. We had to provide actual outside interference to with with the use of Little Buddy to block his vacuum
You wanna know why Octavio in Splatoon 1 was the hardest? He just had 3 pures of damage up. MPU stacked worse than damage up, and didn't work on sub weapons or specials, so that's why he was pitifully easy in Splatoon 2.
In Lore Octavio was at his peak in splatoon 2 story mode Yet Octavio’s most complex and interesting battle is in splatoon 3 Splatoon 1 Octavio is annoying
I'm not sure if it's just a graphics difference between 1 and 2, but Octavio appears to dry up a bit in between games. And then Splatoon 3 REALLY, CANONICALLY dried him up.
Ok no offense inklings but dj Octavio’s music is way better than y’all’s y’all could at least switch it up in the second battle and Octavio change it in the second game and it was good oh and the 3rd game is like a remix of the first boss but at least he changed it sort of
Why is his ink blue in splatoon 3? I know it contrasts the yellow, but still what's with the sudden change in colour? It's been pink in both previous games.
2's was fine overall but didn't scale difficulty with upgrades and was also relatively uninteresting compared to 1's boss mechanics. songs were good though
it's saddening that DJ Octavio who is an actual DJ have only worked three songs - I am Octavio - bomb rush blush feat octavio And Calamari Inkantation 3Mix While Mr grizz who don't even make music have his name on some of the salmon run songs+ his boss fight
In terms of difficulty it goes in order from 1, 2, then 3. The reason why is because the 3rd on is just him in a robot on regular power, no great zapfish. Just Mano en Mano. For 2nd to 1st, I like 1st on better cause, yes you have to prioritize projectiles, but on a ever decreasing platform with stage mechanics from each level. And calamari inkantation has better atmosphere in 1st then second one. The 2nd just has a huge circle platform with no stage mechanics and can swim to the side without major problems
RankinAudio's Ultimate Dubstep 3 goes well in DJ Octavio's boss fight in Splatoon 2. Also PEW PEW by Slushii and Tokyo Machine or several Undertale songs!
It's "Octo" or "Octopus" form. Simple as that. And we may never know because he was severely injured during the great turf war and is now stuck in octo form.
1 Jan 2024 I am back baby! Happy New Year! This one is called Barrier Bombage. DJ Octavio escaped from his snow globe to get back into his mech but Agent 3 and Agent 4 found out and ran to the spot where Octavio’s mech likes to hang out in. “Hey! Get back here!!” “Well, try and get me!” Agent 4 and Agent 3 charged at the Octo-bot, but ran so hard that they broke the barrier(with they never broke before), tried to knock Octavio out, the barrier respawned, and Agent 3 found out that her and Agent 4 were going to be in an another adventure today after parting her booty off. “Agent 4?” “Yeah?” “I think we got tricked into getting into the barrier.” Agent 4 presses her hands on the barrier. “Oh no! We are trapped here with DJ Octavio!” “Time to fly, Mech!” “Wait what?” DJ Octavio zoomed backward, trying to get Agent 3 and Agent 4 as far as possible. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! KELP US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” From Off the Hook’s studio, Pearl knew that Agent 4 and Agent 3 were in need of some help. “Hey ‘Rina?” “Yes?” “I think that Agent 3 and Agent 4 need help! Shall we invite Callie, Marie, Shiver, Frye, Big Man, Agent 8 and Neo Agent 3?” “Yes.” “I’ll go get Neo Agent 3 and Agent 8 first.” And Pearl set off to get everyone. Neo Agent 3 was standing in front of Agent 8. She was pretending to hold a toothbrush with toothpaste. “Uh oh! You found the toothpaste! Let’s get one thing clear…I can brush my teeth all by myself, ok?” “Yeah right, Neo Agent 3! Get back here!” Agent 8 ran and pounced on Neo Agent 3, taking her down then tickling her until Pearl walked in on them. “Guys…?” “GAH!!!! You don’t see anything!!!!” “Would you like to help me?” “No thanks…” “Agent 8, would you like to help me?” “Sorry…I am having too much fun right now…” “Ok. I will ask Deep Cut.” “Agent 8, stop it!” Pearl left to go to Deep Cut’s studio. “Guys…?” “What is it, Pearl?” “Would you guys like to help me with something?” “Not right now…” “What about you, Big Man?” “Ay…(Can’t…Busy…)” “Frye?” “I’ll be calling my friend, I have a thing planned with them.” “Nice. Now time to get the Squid Sisters.” Pearl went to the Squid Sisters’ studio. “If you are wanting me and Marie to help you, I have a performance and Marie does too.” “Thanks!” Pearl went back to Off the Hook’s studio to tell Marina the news. “I got Frye to help us!” “Nice! Now let’s go!” Marina, Frye and Pearl went to DJ Octavio’s mech, ran after the mech with their battle weapons, stopped, and went into battle. Frye called her eels over and they formed a Rainmaker shield around her. The eels “self-destructed” the shield but Frye did not break Octavio’s mech’s barrier. Pearl brought out her MC.Princess cannon and fired it at DJ Octavio but that still did not work. Frye tried again but guess what happened? It. Did. Not. Work. Frye was getting upset, so she punched the barrier right open, blasted DJ Octavio right back in the snow globe, and Agent 3 and Agent 4 piled out onto the floor. “Neo Agent 3~ What to brush your teeth now?” “I. CAN. BRUSH. MY. TEETH. MYSELF.” “Oh no you can’t!” Agent 4 pounced her Agent 8 onto Neo Agent 3 once more. “Welp! The more the merrier!” Agent 3 joined the bundle and everyone lived happily ever after. (Expect for Octavio) The End. (By Ms.Inkling)
As someone who played all 3 games the first game comes out on top followed by 2 then 3. Octavio in 3 really disappointed me. Maybe because I was going into the fight with experience idk but I was expecting more music and gameplay wise.
