My earliest FPV experiences were back in 2006; big clunky 1.2ghz VTX+VRX modules and camera meant for wireless security systems paired with an RC car and Olympus video glasses. I had a blast.

Some (very bouncy) footage from 2006 recorded with an Archos AV500 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ag21GUXEe5s.html But Oct 2020 I put an FPV cam in a 3-axis gimbal mounted on an RC car, now that really was fun! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xGIF_tWNvgg.html Someone should try a gimbal setup with DJI on an RC car!

I genuinely appreciate your videos and advice as a creator on "the quest to" i frequently watch your videos for inspiration, entertainment, and education (and sometimes the shenanigans) lol

I started with a whoop and I hot glued a Eachine camera/vtx combo and Eachine EV-100, I purchased my first real quad clean flight was out and Betaflight was just starting up as the normal, I purchased a 2.5in massive Droner. Emax flight stack and 1105 5500kv Emax motors. I purchased a laptop and learned Betaflight. If it wasn't for Everyone at Roto-Riot I probably wouldn't be flying. Thanks Guys

I love you guys BUT..., hardly an evolution video considering it started back in the freaking 70's with cross country glider competitions. I started in 1985, learning to hover a gyroless Schluter Champion .60 heli. and terrorizing the neighbors with it on an MRC Frog. Quad copters only made it popular and greatly expanded the capability's.
