I had Persian on my team mostly in RBY to abuse the crit/speed glitch. It outspead everything except Alakazam and I used slash to pretty much level her team on one or two hits (Mr. MIME sometimes survived for some reason) . Had Blastoise as a tank then usually had Gengar, NidoKing, Scyther (again to abuse its speed and crit everything) and some random 6th mon. Battle wise either Sun/Moon or PWT because she was actually challenging.

God these videos fascinate me so much because of how far the series has come, I mean look at how her room in the Gym in Gen 1 is just..... walls... checkered floor... a single teleporter.... I sleep. Then Gen 3 and 4 add some cool stuff to make it more customized for her BUT THEN Gen 7 takes it up to eleven and adds BUILDINGS and SPOTLIGHTS and even a crowd???? What a gym. She's as queen as always

I had two, a Gengar and a Vileplume. I did briefly use a Beedrill myself however Vileplume took its place in the later parts of the game.

If I were to guess I'd say it was incredibly easy and you OHKOd all her pokemon with Beedrill. In a playthrough Beedrill does that very easily. In fact Beedrill kicks a lot of gym leader's and the entirety of team rocket's as$.

Her storytelling through her design over time is one of my favorites cause her outfit is super reserved during gen 1 but gen 2 she wears much lighter clothes to show shes grown older and more relaxed compared to how reserved and shut off she was before

Awesome video! I always loved the episodes in the anime that she was in when Ash was struggling to defeat her and had to get a ghost to defeat her along with Misty and Brock (which did not make sense game wise since the Gengar evolution line did not have ghost moves that were super effective against psychic, not to mention being part poison also hurt it against said type) and somehow managed to earn the badge despite not actually defeating Sabrina. I remember on Blue my team at the time consisted of Persian, Gengar, Charizard, Jolteon, Exeggute (forgive me if I spelled it wrong), and Staryu. I used Persian for almost the entire battle as it is fast and almost KOed her Pokemon with Fury Swipe, but would switch out to get everyone experience :-)!

My favorite sprite is definitely gen 4 heart gold/ soul silver. It looked modern and good design overall. I liked how it gives model vibe yet still intimating look because she can pull fire from her hands or whatever that green thing is on her hands.

I first fought Sabrina in FireRed. My team for this was Pidgeot, Alakazam, Gengar, Gyarados, Vileplume and Charizard. I also had a Hitmonlee, Beedrill and Magneton however they weren’t strong enough to make my final team. Gyarados and Charizard did most of the heavy lifting for the battle with Pidgeot and even Gengar getting a hit in here and there. It was difficult nonetheless. When it came to battling the Kanto gyms in HeartGold, I actually recreated my Kanto team however this time they were much stronger and even had moves from gen 1 to gen 4. Sabrina has always been one of my favourite gym leaders, tied with Blaine as my favourite in Kanto. Thanks for making this video!

QOTD- I had Charizard, Pidgeot, Primeape, Snorlax, Omastar and Vileplume. Not a good experience as most of my Pokémon struggled against her. Having to make some sacrifices, I eventually had Helix (Omastar) take her out with some strong water attacks

Maybe it's an unpopular opinion, but I prefer her HeartGold/SoulSilver design a lot more. The haircut, the outfit (whose style screams 00s), and the bracelets (which seem to react to her psychic powers) give her fresher and more unique look. The classic one looked like a reskin of Team Rocket's Jessie.

Blue version: lv100 Charizard (I was 6 when I relied heavily on Charizard) Yellow: Venasaur (Bobby),Charizard (Godzilla),Blastoise (Roshi) I don’t recall an easy time against Sabrina (not even FRLG). The psychic typing was broken/god tier and only physical attacks were the way to beat them.

Sabrina is without doubt the hardest Gym Leader in Kanto she is very difficult to beat I struggled badly against her in FireRed & LeafGreen and to defeat her in Let's Go Pikachu I had to use Alolan Muk.

I struggled against her in blue version as a kid. Later as an adult i could sneeze past her at 18.

She was very easy in Pokémon Let's go Pikachu because her levels were kind of lower than I expected. Also, she had weaker Pokémon. In Yellow, she is even harder than Blaine.
