I've always been convinced that Kamek having the Coin Box special item in Mario Kart Tour is a reference to that infinite coin box in SMRPG:LOT7S.

In Super Mario Galaxy 2, if you watch a tuto on one of those "TVs", all the coins in the level respawn, so you can collect them as many times as you want, so it's also an infinite coin trick

Yeah, and if you do this on Gold Rush mode, you can reach 300.000.00 coins so easly... 😅

While it's infinite, you cannot achieve more than 9999 per level overworld standard (yeah there's a cap on how much coin you get there but the counter still goes in game regardless).

I was just about to say the same. Most of the time, the reward you get for finding balloons is around 800 coins! That is if you do it on the specific kingdom that has the bonus coins.

There's another way to get infinite coins in Super Mario 64 during the Bowser fights in Bowser in the Dark World and Bowser in the Sky. Bowser's fire has a chance to produce coins during those fights, and there isn't a cap for the amount of coins that the fire can make.

Yeah, however the Japanese version does not have an coin limit, meaning if Mario manages to collect more than 999 coins, the lifes counter will display an glitched digit, known as M25... This is an glitch exclusive to Japanese version.

Super Princess Peach has a pretty efficient coin farm in Giddy Sky 7-3, in the section with all the pipes that spawn Goombas infinitely and the blue blocks that can only be destroyed with Poundbrella. I've made tens of thousands of coins in that spot alone, no lie! If you have purchased the Courage Soda from the shop, you can go to that spot and totally commit Goomba genocide for more than enough coins to bury Mount Everest in!

1:11 this gives me a weird feeling a bit like ptsd. This also happens in that minigame where you punch the tiles to reveal either a powerup or bowser/bowser jr. And depending on what pairs you reveal you get items or the minigame ends. I dont know why but its the spinning that causes this aka. The ptsd kicks in when its spinning and ends shortly after.

There’s an easier way to do that in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, buy several Dried Shrooms and have Zess T. cook them into Shroom Frys and resell them for a profit

@@chrisgranger5477 The cookbook lets her cook with two, but it also makes some of her recipes better. The cookbook does let her make a shroom fry from a dried shroom, for example.

What about in Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga where you can farm coins by jumping under Luigi repeatedly as Small Mario? Sure, it's not infinite, as Luigi loses 1 HP for every coin collected, but healing Luigi time and time again might make it work.

if 2 players are caught by greninjas final smash, the other player whatches the player getting killed by greninja and then greninja can kill2 players (The one not caught by greninjas board but near to it).

I think TTYD though haven't infinite coin potential.... Only netting you 2 coins each time would take way longer to actually achieve max coins than by just playing through the game and using other methods xD
