Zapdos... the Pokemon that lives high above the sky and creates thunderstorms. It only appears during thunderstorms and when its hit by lightning, it gains power
In gen 1 it's unnecessary to get the target down to one hp because the formula the game uses to determine catch odds makes it so as long as it's a 1/4 it's hp it's pretty much the same if it was at 1
Let me tell you something about Zapdos. Zapdos is my favorite legendary Pokémon. While Articuno was more Elegant and Moltres was more fiery; Zapdos was just frightening and the hardest to catch for me. I’m mad a shit at what they did with Galarian Zapdos...it’s attacks are cool but they made him like a Dodo or a roadrunner fighting type and it’s messed up.
I think Zapdos is an interesting Pokémon. When I fought it, I used Articuno to encase it in a sheet of ice, rendering Zapdos cold and soggy! Then I threw the Poké Ball.
