Rise Leo is one of my top favorite versions of him. While he’s different from any other Leo we’ve seen, the writing he got for the rise movie was outstanding.
Leo is so underrated! I love him. He usually gets a bad rep for having no personality because he’s the leader, but if you really look you’ll see he has his moments. I love 2012 Leo!
Honestly, the he has no personality take (not saying u have this take, u obv. don't), is just wrong and stupid imo. Each version of him defin. has plenty of personify and are very complex characters. And him being the leader (though, in some versions, he becomes that later and/or it is something he really grows into), and being a leader in general means so many different things, and acquires so many different kinds of qualities and character traits. And there a different kinds of leaders too. So I always find it kind of weird that people try to equate being a leader (and sometimes even the oldest too, and I just like, "what, really? are you kidding me w/ that?" That isn't true either) w/ no personality, when that is the furthest thing from the truth. Anyways, yes, agreed, Leo (and/or at least some versions of Leo) can be pretty and/or very underrated (at times and/or sometimes). He does still have plenty of fans too (like me), or at least (more) people at least appreciating his character, even if they aren't (major) fans of him. And I think more and more people are loving and appreciating his character nowadays (with Rise and now MM and looking back at other and/or previous versions as well. Including another current one, like IDW TMNT Leo. Who is also great, and one of the best IDW TMNT characters imo), and that is cool! I hope more people will continue to do so! Since he is a great, amazing character and deserves all the love (the turtles are and do too, not saying they aren't and don't). :)
Dang it we got another responsible Leonardo- rottmnt was one of the best cause he was different😢 But the thing with mutant mayhem is they’re beautiful art and animation it’s so pretty and they actually used teens the story looks pretty cool to, so far rottmnt, 2012 tmnt and the mutant mayhem is really cool in my list😅😊
I grew up on the 1997 version of TMNT, and I always loved it. But my favorite is the 2007 version. I've really like the animation and the story of that movie.
4:43 Is the Greatest version of Leonardo. He has an epic character ark during Season 4 of the series and is in rage trying to redeem himself for his failure the prior season.
As a turtle fan I see You forgot an important evolution step. Its '87 series, but The Red Sky Episodes (8-10) aired between '94 and '96. Its a different Era with different design. And in this design we can see were '03 design came from.
2003 leo is the most fleshed out and mature leo that embodies all the characteristics of the original comics, but somehow softer and with greater humility and reliance on his family
2007 is slept on, it will always be my favorite movie and favorite version of the characters, tied with the original 90s film. I love Leo so much in the 2007 movie.
Cam Clarke's performance from the 1987 TV series is my favorite. He really put his heart and soul into the part even though the character was the complete polar opposite of him. Brian Tochi comes in 2nd place for me. 6:57 to 7:27, Jason Biggs can't act his way out of a paper bag. He's so lifeless and wooden in everything he does. His acting makes Shia LaBeouf look like Tom Hanks and Taylor Lautner look like Daniel Day-Lewis.
incase the viewers didn’t know, teenage mutant ninja turtles 2014 is called “teenage mutant ninja turtles: out of the shadows” edit: siri was wrong out of the shadows was made in 2016
My favorite was the 1997 one bc it was the first one I saw as a kid on dvd I still have it and my other one is The show in 2012 it was just the best show on Nickelodeon as a kid and a fan of TMNT
I pretty much like the 1987 luck. I don’t really care for the new look right now of ninja turtles with all the newer characters but I like the 1987 in Luck look.
