What's your favorite Luigi Game Over?

The Game Over where Luigi looks dead inside (the first game btw) was a beta version and basically you had a certain amount of time to save Mario, and if you failed you would get that screen where Luigi isn't dead, he's just depressed he couldn't save Mario and therefore Nintendo canceled this because it was practically impossible and the screen would scare children.

That first one is all like- You failed. Luigi is now doomed to roam the halls as his body slowly rotts.

Luigis mansion 1 felt more like a horror game and that’s what made it the best

Honestly the LM3 Game Over is likely to scare some youngsters. The implications are terrifying. All the heroes are trapped forever with no hope of rescue...

The fact that luigi made it to Desth's room on Castlevania by just running away is amazing ngl.

The “Good night” in the original game is my favorite, probably because of the spooky music and color filter as Luigi crumbles to the ground.

The first game over of the original is scary, seeing Luigi with a depressed expresion like he is dead inside while he watch us make me chills.

One thing I know for certain that Luigi's Mansion 3 did right was the Game Over screen. In the first game, Nintendo COMPLETELY missed the opportunity to put in a SECOND Game Over screen that comes only if you lose the King Boo fight. Dark Moon made it clear from the start that King Boo was back when he shattered the second game's namesake MacGuffin, so the "Trapping Luigi in a painting upon getting a Game Over" should've been in Dark Moon.

I really wish they left in the scary game over screen from the beta Luigi's Mansion, I know it's terrifying but frankly I always wanted the game to be really spooky like that

I remember this year for my birthday my dad took me, my younger and older brother, and our step sister to Dave and busters. Me and my older brother played Luigi’s Mansion because they still had it (I remember playing it years before) it was fun but the controls were kind of delayed but it was still very fun so if you see one than you got to try it

The Luigi's mansion 1 Beta Game over is terrifying especially with the music. Feels like an actual horror game. When I was younger, I saw a vid with that gameover screen and I had Nightmares for the rest of the month.

I don’t know why but I was always scared of Luigi‘s haunted mansion dark moon so I never played at night

Luigi's mansion 1 is creepiest, and it used to scare me a little. Luigi's mansion beta I don't find creepy, I just like that his nose seems even bigger than usual. Luigi's mansion 2 isn't creepy at all, it would have been just as creepy if it said "Game Over". Luigi's mansion arcade thinks that big letters makes it creepier. Too bad that's completely wrong. Luigi's mansion 3DS is just barely less creepy than the first one. The black in the middle is completely gone. Luigi's mansion 3 is kinda creepy, I guess. Not comparable to LM1. Super smash bros Ultimate doesn't count, as you're not even playing this game in this part.
