(Note: I will more than likely get very harsh here, anything I say that may be rude should not be taken personally and I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, just my thoughts on these games) There are lots of things you didn’t really bring up, you didn’t even really critique the games if anything, only dustcord was the one you had genuine feedback for, and the more recent ones you just said you liked them. So imma give my thoughts here One thing I only saw bought up in dustcord hardmode is the attacks. Difficulty is very good in games if done correctly. Heck basically every UT fanwork now is really hard. But your games are just unfair to be honest (or at least your more recent ones.) sometimes that isn’t even due to difficulty, it’s just broken hitboxes or something else. Nerfing attacks and fixing said hitboxes would help a LOT of your games Another thing I saw is stealing content (possibly). I’m probably just assuming here, and I’m so so sorry if you actually did ask permission for everything mentioned. Anyways, the sprites in all of your games (except for the katypichu sprite at the beginning of them) are stolen. In my opinion it’s kind of obvious because of the HEAVY subpixeling or editing. If you did ask permission and I’m wrong, that’s amazing. If I’m right though, it is much better to ask for permission first. Some people I do know don’t need permission, and just credits, but I know that a lot of the people you use sprites from require permission and probably wouldn’t like this level of subpixeling/editing. Permission is a key thing, and I hope you either already have it or get it in the future :) Everything I said also goes for music, by the way. This one might just be a nitpick but, a brutal mode or hard mode shouldn’t necessarily be a fell version imo, just spiced up attacks of course. well, I was very naive before, I didn't know I couldn't edit other people's sprites without permission, and I don't know if you know, but I was very young, now I am much more aware of the shit I did in the past, but I don’t have the courage to fix it. Also I have a habit of NOT updating the fangames, this is because I want to see my "evolution". I know these games are not fair and the hitbox sucks, but I don't want to update them to make them "better", I hope you understand that Well, I just edited it, but I put credit for the original sprite, I don't have the courage (or at least recently) to STEAL someone else's work
