I wanna point out that the Famicom startup is only available with the Disk System, the N64 startup is only available with the 64DD attached, and the SNES doesn’t have a startup (excluding the BS-X Satelliview add-on)
@@bryanguegan6937 yeah but it looks like it took effort to make unlike the switch and what I mean is the Home Screen is cool the it has music everywhere u go and there was a ton of features. Although the games for the Wii U are now ported to switch so I mean I guess there’s really no reason to get a Wii U today except if you’re a collector
@@thefriendlygamer2221I modded mine recently, because Nintendo is shutting down NNID for the 3DS and Wii U in April next year, so I switched over to Pretendo Network so I can still play online games like Mario Kart 8, Splatoon and use Miiverse or Juxtaposition.
Idk I thought the 3DS/Wii U was slightly better because the Wii U had Wii U games + virtual console + Wii backwards compatibility and the 3DS had the 3DS games + DS backwards compatibility. The DS/Wii did have stronger game releases though for sure.
As someone who has a 2DS and a Switch, I’d like to point out that those aren’t the actual “startups” 3DS (2:24) : This one plays when you start up a game or other app. The console instead goes straight to the home menu when powered on. Switch (2:54): when powering on the console, the intro is a lot more bland. As a side note, there’s a third variant of the GameCube intro that is used when you have four controllers plugged in and the Z button is held down on all of them.
First off, while yes that animation plays when you start an app or game. The sound you hear plays when you startup the console. Secondly, that Nintendo switch startup plays when you setup the console for the first time.
0:05 real but only the Famicon disk system attachment. 0:32 real 0:43 fake (fanmade animation) 0:56 real 1:09 real 1:17 real 1:26 real but you cannot press any of the R buttons when you start up the console. 1:37 real but you have to have four controllers connected and you have to press all of the R buttons the same time. 1:42 real 1:52 real 2:06 real 2:17 real 2:29 real 2:49 real but only for the first time you start up your console then you’ll never see it again. (edit note: only two out of three of the GameCube start ups were shown. It showed the first and third. The second start you have one or more controllers connected and press R on only one of them.)
You know what I just realized that the Nintendo switch should have been called the Nintendo click because of the click sound it makes when you set up the joy-cons.
From when I grow up what my Sister and I had was the Super Nintendo Entertainment System then I have my own console witch is the Nintendo DSi in blue and now I have the Nintendo Switch Lite in the colour turquoise. I still have the Nintendo DSi to this day but it’s just that I just don’t play games on my DSi anymore I play games on my Nintendo Switch Lite now😅
its crazy how many views and comments this has got. Also i probably told u this the other day but my 2 favs have always been the Wii and 3DS for the memories and impact they had for me; they make me miss 2010 and 2011 so much
Maybe I'm biased but the 3DS/Wii U was the greatest era Nintendo had. The DS and Wii was also pretty great too, but honestly every Nintendo era is great.
