He is an old animatronic that replaces The Rat and The Cat. He exist in the same year as Blank during the 1970s. He was scrapped because he was responsible for the murder of the kid’s father who is abusing the child. This was since 1987 before Candy, Cindy, Chester and Penguin were introduced. Unlike Blank, he isn’t scrapped so he is used as a display animatronic for kids. I really hope he returns in FNAC 4 cause we only see him in the First game during the nights. The mini games don’t count from FNAC 2 and 3.

I wish we could've gotten more about every character. Characters are what make a story what it is, without characters - you have a whole lot of nothing. And in this case, even if you have em but you don't expand on them - your game/etc is going to die fast. It makes sense why everyone knows about FnaC but doesn't really talk about it anymore since it's just a short story with a cool concept. Sucks that Emil ended it so soon. Now he tried to do FnaC 4 and make it a different story since it involves Candy (forgotten candy is the fanname) and.. it's cancelled.. lol.. the things that Emil says are a lead on honestly, it's been years. There is no FnaC 4 and even if he did do it, it would be like TPOT (the power of two) only a handful of people would get charmed by it.

He's just a new version of Cat (since cat's true name is Candy according to a minigame of Fnac 3)

@@Ona0675 “FNaC 4 was properly announced at the end of August 2018, when not only did Emil confirm the development of the game” It's been 6/5 years bro, it doesn't matter. Even if Emil "recently" announced that 'he was just taking a break, mental health, stress' and blah blah it's clear he's going for the yandev route. If he'd rather focus on other installments than fnac 4 for years, it would certainly mean he's lost passion for the game. He knows we wanted it to come out.

@@cupofsatori friendly reminder that he's been also working on fnac fur, and helping kane on popgoes evergreen and arcade, so he needs to keep switching between projects to avoid burnout, as well as he deals with other personal things, he made Fnac alone so it gets slightly difficult for him to handle this things, also, Fnac 4 is going to be the most huge game with many other characters and animatronics so he's taking a lot of time to it

I’ll be honest, I’ve always been confused as to why there’s a security camera implied to exist in 1964. I’m sorry, but if animatronics only started appearing the year after… something’s not right. If this company pioneered something like that, they’d still be going. So I say the 1964 bit is referring to the general date of FNAC 3, and 197something is security footage. Remember, the RAT and CAT started out as costumes, seems plausible enough.

Old Candy was the original Candy mascot for Candy's Burgers and Fries. He and Blank were both manufactured together in 1964, and were the first and only two animatronics at Candy's Burgers and Fries. However, the restaurant may have originally been The Rat and Cat's diner (I can't remember if it was or not). If so, that would mean Old Candy and Blank were the replacements for the Rat and the Cat. Anyways, Old Candy was the main mascot since the day he was made, all the way up until some date in 1987, when he allegedly attacked an adult punishing his child in the restaurant. After that, he was most likely thrown in the parts room, and replaced by Candy, Cindy, Chester, and The Penguin.
