Justice Sandra Day O'Connor stops by Google for a conversation with Kent Walker.
A pioneer in the legal profession, Justice O'Connor became the first woman appointed to the Court in 1981. Over the course of her career at the Court, she played a pivotal role in numerous rulings with far-reaching implications. Following her retirement in 2006, Justice O'Connor took on the challenge of educating students about civic engagement through the use of the Web, creating the site iCivics.
We'll spend the hour discussing her thoughts on current legal and political debates, controversial decisions present and future, life at the Court and work with other justices, the evolution of the court system, and how technology is shaping civic engagement.

I also could listen to her talk about the law all day! I got to this video because of a comment Senator Lindsay Graham made in the ACB confirmation hearings (Day Three) about past Supreme Court women pioneers where he blundered and LEFT OUT Justice O'Conner and her contribution to women everywhere. I Googled to find out more info about her and saw this video. So glad that 'Talks at Google' got her in there to speak, she is a firebrand! Thank you.

This is a particularly funny blunder because O'Connor was appointed by Regan, a man Graham worships.

She Loves Her Family And Learned From Difficult Challenges In A Man's World. These Men Were Use To Being Sole Providers, And Women Were Mother's And Care Takers. But Now Women Can Argue The Constitution in A Court Of Law. Beautiful. She's Smart, You Can Trust She Look's Closely At Both Sides Of The Case's. I Love America. My Home Sweet Home. The Man With Google Is Out Standing In Interviewing Her. He Let Her Talk. And The Listen Are Learning From A Judge, A Supreme Court. She Is The Court Talking To The American People. This Is Sweet, Sweet. She Is A Beautiful Person And Woman. His Name Is Jesus. Trust Him. Read: Psalm 23. I Like Her She's Real. She Reminds Me Of Strong White Women That Mentored Me.
