The best part is that Nintendo was originally going to use Maurice Ravel's Bolero as the theme song, but couldn't get past the copyright. Learning about this very late into development, Koji Kondo ended up composing a new theme for the game within the day. Pretty amazing that it's become so synonymously iconic despite being whipped up on such short notice.
@@ricekrispies1917 happens way too often actually. For example, the woman who composed the opening for Neon Genesis Evangelion wrote it whole in like 2 hours or so, then presented it as is, and now it's one of the most iconic pieces of Japanese music, recognizable worldwide
I thought we were listening to The Hyrule Theme... but Ocarina of time and Majoras was... the title and clock town??? Not... the times you hear hyrules theme in those games... same with windwaker...

@@Sakachi18 ok correct me if I'm wrong but you're talking about main themes right? The BoTW used the piano first because what you must be thinking was a piano for MM's main theme is a string instrument most likely a harp
@@A3therius Are you sure? That really sounds like piano keys to me. I could be wrong, I've only ever played a keyboard and an organ, not an actual piano, but it sure sounds like one.
That’s what it always feels like XD But this time around, I believe it will use the same engine and physics so it should come out much sooner than botw did. I mean, look at majoras mask.
So, am I the only one being incredibly unclear on this? Whilst Zelda 1-3 are overworld themes, from 4 and onwards it switches to a mix of title themes and overworld themes... I'm confused...
@@scottcameron3030 Yeah, I thought so too, but the tune based on LoZ 1, the main theme, is also present in Majora's Mask and Skyward Sword, yet are not the ones shown in the video.
they took 5 years to make breath of the wild because they had to create a new engine for the game (physics and things like that) plus they were developing the switch at that time. now that they are using the same engine that is already created for the sequel, the developers will make the sequel in no time.
Mario and Zelda have been around since the beginning of Nintendo. I hope they continue to grow forever. What would people do without them? With how long they’ve been around and all of the joy they’ve brought to people, how could they let it end? Short answer: it shouldn’t!
shedke piyush love Pokemon as well but man it ain’t the same. I got bored of it a Ling time ago, I’m talking when grudon was new. Zelda games are just damn good games time after time. They know how to give you an adventure
I honestly think that Botw is the strongest. I know that the song doesn’t get stuck in you head and you can’t really hum it but it fits the game so incredibly well that it deserves more praise. I mean just listen to the song!
Dude what are you talking about, it gets stuck in my head so often I had to screen record it so I could go back and watch it. And yeah you can really hum but I occasionally try that and whistle it. But it fits the game very well and you truly feel like you’re just in the wild.
They didnt even play spirit tracks at the zelda 25 year symphony I went to. No phantom hour glass either. They didnt even acknowledge them but they did for both Oracle of Seasons/ Ages
For me, it’ll always be wind waker Used to go each friday at at a friends house and we’d be four Including my brother We’d play wind waker and botw It was so fun
I think OoT and BotW’s themes are better than Skyward Sword’s, just because they are both so memorable. Even just after the end of this video I don’t remember how SS’s theme goes, whereas listening to BotW or OoT’s themes, at least for me, immediately put me in their respective worlds. I haven’t played very much Zelda so I may be biased but please let me know if you agree.
Today we'll take a look at the evolution of the Zelda Theme in the main Legend of Zelda games. Disclaimer: I didn't include Cadence of Hyrule as it is more of a Crypt of the NecroDancer game than a Zelda one. But yes, it also features a Zelda Theme Remix. Please enjoy and comment your favorite version! :)
Link to the past gives me so much nostalgia. When i was little, my mom would play link to the past on our tv, and I would play along with her on my 3ds on a link between worlds. It was so much fun.
Romance in the Air, Fi's Theme/Farewell/Gratitude, Ballad of the Goddess, Impa's Fate, Legend of Skyloft/Battlefield of Demise/Demise/Final Demise, Groose/Grooseland/Groosenator/Dejected Groose/Heroic Groose, Skyloft, Isle of Songs, Crimson Loftwing, Zelda Escapes, Earth Temple, The Sky, Stalfos, The Imprisoned 2/3, Ghirahim Battle/Final Ghirahim, Knight's Academy, Bilocyte, Pumpkin Pastime, Staff Roll (best in the series), Sky Keep, Bamboo Cutting, Disrupted Ritual/Ghirahim's Ritual, Gate of Time, Dramatic Descent, Song of the Hero/Beginning's End, Past at Peace, Power of the Triforce... oh and the best version of Zelda's Lullaby. That soundtrack is pure gold.
I only played triforce heroes and omg it’s funny how all the all the songs were pretty much the same and then there’s triforce where it’s like *DUHN DUHDUH DUN DUN DUN*
@@mihajlopetkovic388 I dunno, I knew we got it on the original DS but the 3DS, I don't think it has this game, but if you have the og DS, play it, it really IS a masterpiece I personally unlocked all of the trains, even the golden one

I was taken here BC I started singing a random tune off the top of my head, thinking it was Hunger Games. My 11 y.o. said "That's Legends of Zelda!" 🤣 After listening to the main theme track, he's right lol. He's definitely being raised right by an 80s kid raised in the 90s lol
i have never been a lot into gaming but I basically grew up with Oot ♥️ my dad loved playing that game on his n64 and when i was born he inherited me his console hahaha i basically played that game nonstop as a child. Hearing the theme song is so nostalgic, it brings back memories of me and my dad cuddled together on the living room trying to solve all the quests. We sometimes occasionally play it nowadays, and the music always makes us smile :) Recently i got a switch and botw as a gift, so excited to play it!!
The Twilight Princess song is supposed to be the main theme of the game. You included a song from Hyrule Field (I think it's from Hyrule Field but def not the main song).
I can not express how much I love all of the music in Spirit tracks. I know the game itself doesn’t have a good rep (I still adore it due to nostalgia bias though, haha) but even if you don’t like the game, the ost is just fantasticcc, please listen!
Oracle of Seasons/Ages has a Pokemon feel. Also, I love how Phantom Hourglass incorporates Wind Waker's sailing theme into it. I know it's Wind Waker Link's second journey. I still find it cool!
I know people don't like skyward sword very much. I do. But seeing as it was the first Legend of Zelda game I ever played (I was 7), hearing any of the music in that game makes my heart swell. It brings me so much comfort and joy, even if it wasn't the best game.
The best sound is definitely from the OG 1986 game. Even though I wasn’t alive during that time, my dad was, and he had that game, and he still does, and he plays it once in a while. And I have memories from when I was really young up until now of watching him play it. And it just brings back so much nostalgia and I think that’s why I love it so much. ❤
The "beat drop" at the beginning of BOTW actually gave me chills, like, the legend of zelda scores have been nonstop bangers, hope nintendo keeps up the great music
Its sad that no one's talking about wind waker. It has such a special place in my heart as my very first Legend of Zelda game. Such a charming theme and beautiful visuals.
TLOZ: A Link Between Worlds is in my opinion, one of the best games out there. If you haven't already played it, I strongly suggest you play this awesome game.
Hey guys my name is AsianPan and I'm 12. I play Ocarina of Time because it's better than Fortnite. Edit: I'm 13 now. Edit(2): My dog died. 2020 sucks. Edit(3): This comment is basically a journal now lol. Btw I changed my username. Edit(4): Sup y'all. Hope you're having a good time in quarantine Edit(5): Holy. Shit. I've never experienced true pain until school started to give us stuff called modules.
