What I want for MK9 is a proper ceremony like before, double dash and wii had one of the best, made me feel like I accomplished getting my character in first, maybe start it off with a recap of a race, then zoom out to the racers

The best Mariokart ceremony was the Wii version. It has everything that even made me consider MK Wii to be the best of all f the other mariokart titles. Not only could your Mii be a part of it, but you get to see ways the characters get greeted by everyone based on outfits and team battles. If anything, this is one of the few reasons MK8 doesn't stick with me as much as that game has a lot over MK Wii.

While my heart will forever belong to the Mario Kart 64 ceremony due to nostalgia (it's the first Mario Kart I ever played and one of the few games my dad played with my brother and I), putting that aside means I have to give the nod to Double Dash!!'s ceremony. Having Toadsworth drive you and your partner around in two giant crowns while the people of Isle Delfino clap, dance and cheer for you is just an amazing feeling.

Mario Kart 8 (DX) is such an amazing game, yet it's trophy ceremony lacks the actual podest with the winning characters on it like in Mario Kart Wii.

This is one of the reasons why MK8 was a mediocre experience for me. No freakin' trophy ceremony for the first time in the history of MKs! I mean the game has got it all, but it's lacking in soul...

I am still surprised that Mario Kart 8 never had a ceremony. The game itself is very polished and detailed, so just seems odd they didn’t add it. Maybe making a ceremony that looked as good as the rest of the game would’ve been too hard?

8 ( Deluxe )'s ceremonies weren't exactly the worst, I mean some pretty epic music follows the replays; it's just lazier The best are Wii, Double Dash, and 64

You know, I never noticed this before and I'm just realizing it now: 4/8 of all the Award Ceremonies in Mario Kart take place at a property that either has Peach in the name or it has her castle in the background. Award Ceremony in Mario Kart 64 takes place at Peach's Castle Award Ceremony in Mario Kart: Super Circuit takes place at Peach Circuit Award Ceremony in Mario Kart Double Dash!! takes place at Peach Beach Award Ceremony in Mario Kart Wii takes place at Mario Circuit which has Peach's Castle in the background How am I only realizing this now after so many years of playing this franchise??

Mario kart Wii was my favorite one

In my opinion: 8. MK:SC 7. MK8 6. MK7 5. SMK 4. MKDS 3. MK64 2. MK:DD 1. MKWii As my first Mario game (that I was aware it was a Mario game*), there was something magical about not knowing these characters or why they have such colorful, cartoony looks and items. Something about not knowing why Toad was named Toad or why he was a Mushroom, why there was a dragon named Yoshi, why there's a green-shelled turtle made it feel more mysterious and magical. So seeing all those funny-looking characters all grouped together in the award ceremony was awesome. I still think this way about the Mario world, and I always will. *-I never knew what game Super Mario World, my first Mario game, was. I never saw the game cartridge or title.

I like how Mario Kart is so consistent when it comes to remaking themes on future games, same trophy presentation song in every game but MKDS and MK7

Giant Cheep Cheep: GAAAAAAAAAAH! Player: Oops... hehe! N64 Player: Hey, I remember this place from Super Mario 64! Giant Cheep Cheep: And the winner is... *player name*!
