I believe there's an implication that much like Fallen Timeline Ganon, Vaati slowly went insane and believed that his "Kirby Boss" form is his true self...

@@StarWritterSW overall it would be very interesting to have both Ganondorf and vaati in a Zelda game but it makes me wonder will Ganondorf be Vaatis master or the other way around I think Ganondprf is more powerful just for the simple fact that he has the title of demon king

@@StarWritterSW I’m talking about more of a game like OOT, WW, BOTW, TOTK type of game more like the big name Zelda type of game I wonder what would Ganondorf think of Vaati would those two try to control each other, would a dominance type of act happen or would it be more like servant/master type of relationship happen

Honestly, I think it would be kinda cool if maybe vaati infiltrated the wind fish, putting him to sleep forever so he could rule the world. That would be really cool.

That's a fair take, but there are a lot of corrolated elements. Wind, music, purple/black color scheme, that hair.

In Melody's story it is revealed that Octavio is the bard who became the Necrodancer. This is why when you play as the bard you are allowed to go at your own pace, he hadn't set the curse yet.

@@yurisonovab3892 When playing Octavo in his story, the final boss is the Necrodancer and he literally says "Oh, how quaint. It's my past self!". This destroys any doubt about that Octavo is the Neecrodancer and not Vaati

@@pushingdasies1 In Octavo's Ode you can get his old family heirloom. The crest that was on Vaati's darkened Mage's Cap.

While Octavo isn't Vaati, the locket item alludes to the fact that Octavo is Vaati's descendant. Saying that the gem that was on Vaati's hat is an heirloom passed down for generations, explaining the similarities between the two. Which means Vaati fucks.

Octavo was actually intended to be Vaati, but since he's technically owned by Capcom it wasn't legally possible.

Yeah, four swords adventures was a weird one. Its weird throwing aside of vaati always sat poorly with me.

@@VardrunCRidleyKnight Yeah it was kind of disappointing final appearance. Like imagine if the very last time we see ganon and he’s just silent. What I’m saying is it was disappointing final iteration of him.

They already broke the timeline with TotK

Didn't anyone ever think maybe we don't ever see the minish in BOTW or TOTK because in the lore only children can see them? Link is a grown man in both those games.

They actually wanted to add the Minish in BotW, but the game engine refused to play ball and they were eventually forced to give up.

@@MalathTheBold actually same logic as the korok, you can see them if you are pure hearted and kids just so happen to be innocent up until a certain age its just there's VERY few pure hearted characters in tloz, even zelda herself is not actually considered pure hearted as far as im concerned (mainly due to her jealousy of link in the past) this is also the case for the dragons actually, except for specific people or specific spots, the dragons cant be seen, people just know where they roam because their shadows are still present this is something 2-3 npcs mention in botw,

​@@dapple-drawings They're referencing the kirby enemy Dark Matter, the main kirby villain. Dark matter and Vaati both are Dark orbs with single eyes, pretty similar with attacks too

I also swapped between his final phase of his Minish cap fight and the cadence fight, and Octavo's theme is very clearly a remixed version of Vaati's. It might be a bit of a stretch, but its very rare for nintendo final bosses that aren't somehow related to share a theme so I can understand why he made that connection

One of the items you can find while playing as Octavo is a locket passed down through generations, which looks suspiciously like Vaati’s crest on his hat, and grants immunity to lightning and, more importantly, wind, all but confirming Octavo’s relationship to Vaati

That's hardly a good reason. Just because it's been awhile since Vaati has been canonically seen doesn't mean he's not still out there. It's been ages since we've seen Koume and Kotake, but we see them in that one scene in TOTK.

@@lordawesome9060 because theres no minish, they were supposed to be in game but they couldnt make it work, so the closest thing i could get was a zonnai with all that thing of the wind mage and such

​@@simonverse9466He's implied to at least be a descendant in Octavo's ode and has been hinted to have connections from the creator of CoH. In Octavo's Ode you get a family heirloom which is Vaati's Crest.

@@simonverse9466 Well he wants to make Zelda his bride in FS so I don't think it's not a possibility that he wanted to have children to continue his legacy. We've seen Ganon revived before so it's not out of question that it happened to Vaati. There are a lot of possibilities but the implications of a floating eye mating with a human disturbs me.

@@riolu477 es cierto ya me imagino que hubiera sido más épico que hubieran incluido una lucha contra el en esa forma usando este una espada hubiera sido como la pelea contra Ganondorf usando la espada para tirar rayos y golpear estos intentando evitar el contraataque.
