Good, helpful video. Good video quality, and no hideous music. I like the way you let the blade stop before you grab the cut pieces. Good example. I can see some minor cheesiness with the saw, but overall, I think I want one.Thanks!

Thank you for your video review ..👍🏻 The only thing that puts me off of buying one, is the back moveable fence doesn’t go all the way down to meet the base, there is a gap that would let thin items go under it. I would have to modify it by sticking something onto back plate and having it come down to sit flush with base , Not impossible to do with some double sided impact tape and a flat piece of either wood or metal. I would be ultimately be getting it to cut aluminium door trims ( profiles ) for carpet and vinyl flooring.

Hi, not much experience with this one, but it's bigger brother the rage 2 is a good machine, and the larger blade (355mm) is very useful... Downside is, it's a heavy beast,, Cheers ,

Thanks for the helpful review, very well done. I’ve ordered this saw and I’ve seen some people now complaining about the fence and how it’s not sturdy and flexes… Which has got me a bit skeptical. How’s it gone for you, any issues? Even if, does look like it could be rectified fairly simply, but not sure. Excited about trying out, even if it’s just a budget saw, still your video helps. Thanks.

To be honest, mine seems to be holding up. I’ve not had any issues, I don’t use it often though maybe twice a month so it isn’t under a lot of stress. Let me know what you think when yours arrives. Thanks

Hi! Do you still have this saw? How it's going? It's still working? I want to buy one. I have a very small workshop space. But i would like to know if it's quality built. I would change that blade it comes with for a diablo steel demon, which i've heard it's much better (evolution blades have a bad reputation) and can withstand many more cuts without getting dull. I'm not rich, so if i need to invest in a tool, it has to be a good one that lasts and can be repaired. Would you recommend this saw to me? Thanks for your advice!

This saw is good for the occasional use if you're going to be using it a few times a day then you may want to consider something more robust. However saying that I use my saw once a week maybe and it still feels good 👍🏻

@@PlumbingGy Thanks a lot for your response. Honestly, although i don't do heavy stuff frequently in my little workshop, i would rather get a robust tool. Because you never know when you will need to give it some heavy intense use (sometimes, formal job is scarce, and you depend on your manual skills and your tools to survive). I was thinking on buying a second hand milwaukee circular saw for metal, and building a little stand to use it as a chop saw when needed. That way i could have two different uses for the same tool. 6:00 why cut that SHS at 45 degrees? Not a safe way to do that.

I was a little disappointed in the clamp mechanism when looking at it in the store I saw it in.

Have to agree it's not the best but the idea behind it is it's a workshop saw so generally you don't use it. As for on the move it's not the best clamp 👌🏻
