Evolve Bamboo GTX! | High Powered Electric Skateboard 

Hey everyone, since this video my controller died and was replaced by evolve. The new controller worked great for a few weeks however now it is having a connection issue that seems to be very common. Even when connected the motors will only move a fraction of an inch and the board is bricked. I will keep you all posted if this gets resolved.

I love love love the Evolve GTX all terrain board because it makes me want to live and it is saving my life! I grew up skateboarding downhill in San Francisco. My whole life I dreamed of an invention like the Evolve skateboards and your company has made those dreams a reality. I was diagnosed 1.5 years ago with stage 4 vocal chord cancer. This has been really hard and left me completely unable to speak and very depressed. I decided I had to bring the most joyful thing I could think of into my life as therapy, and that is skateboarding in nature. My friend has been loaning me his evolve board (I have not been able to afford one yet due to massive medical expenses I am struggling to pay). This board has brought so much fun and adventure back into my life that I feel it healing me every time I ride. I can feel it strengthening my body spirit. It fills my life with joy and childlike freedom. I feel that riding your boards is a key component in saving my life! Bless you for creating these most awesome of boards. When I ride the evolve board I feel like a mighty stag galloping through the forest. I feel like a soaring eagle flying through the mountains. You are helping humanity into a more positive future of fun and non toxic transport. I thank you for all your company is doing and I pray one day to own my own Evolve GTX all terrain skateboard. Dreams do come true!

These electric skateboard videos you’ve done are some of my favorite work of yours. I really appreciate how thorough you are in testing these things, and you’re excellent at conveying that information to us. Hopefully there’s more of them to come 🤞 I’m fascinated by electric skateboards and really want to buy one for myself someday. Doesn’t look like it will be anytime soon unfortunately because of the prices of them, so this is a cool way for me to kind of live vicariously through you, as dorky as that might sound. Thanks for all your videos man I'm about 8 months to a year away from purchasing my first board money is a little tight. I've been skating pretty much all my life I use my longboard now to get to and from work I think I'm ready for an eboard.... I haven't been this excited since the birth of my son LOL . I just got the exact same board and man the ride is just incredible with the 175mm wheels .the only thing is the remote like I said it I have the V-1 remote I need to go up to the V-2 but the ride is friggin like awesome. I've never been on a skateboard with such a smooth ride it's like being in a Cadillac. Like he said the deck is concave which is really nice and helps to keep your feet planted

Great video man. If you get the AT show us how it handles different terrain. One of the best things about that board is it's AT capability so since you already spent the money you mine as well spend the little extra for the AT wheels and do a video on that lol

Tempted to buy the GTX board. Been a customer since the very first Gen1.. I must say I do like the controller of Gen2. I can understand why others may not like it, but I do like the shorter curve range.. But then again, I'm a power user.

I just received my Evolve GTX 2 days ago. It came with the old remote. I emailed Evolve for a new one. Hope I get it. The old remote doesn't feel safe.

That's the exact board I want. Thanks for making this video. Excellent video. Best review of this board on RU-vid. As far as I can tell this board has way more pro's than cons for me. So I'm excited about the decision I have made. QUESTIONS 1) Regarding kick-pushing, is there any difference in resistance when the board is turned off as opposed to when you have it on but your not using the controller? 2) Without being able to fly with this board, I'm curious to know which option would be better; pull the battery out and ship it to your destination, then put it back in when you and your board arrive. Or just buy another battery at your destination and leave your old battery at home? I live in Melbourne, Australia but would love to take a board like this to places like Florida, NYC and LA, to name a few. It's such a great way to see the world. Better than looking from behind a glass on a tour bus that's for sure.

Had to return my R2 remote today. Seems the charging port no longer works. Hopefully it won't be too long before I get it back.

I had the Bamboo Gt and was riding it in a smooth parking lot. I was hitting about 18 mph. My remote was losing connection with the board. I hit the trigger back to stop and board was still going. I guess the board got a delayed stop response. I flew off the board because the board stopped. Landed hard on the ground and broke my elbow. The remote was a bad design and I think it a 2.4 Ghz. I sold the board and never road a eboard again.

Would be great if they implemented headlights and taillights for lower light riding like the One Wheel

this might actually be the board i will be going for. i need the range to get to town (12km one way or 7.5 miles) so i need to get to town and back again. there is two boards that can handle what i want and need from an electric skateboard and that is all the evolve boards and the action blink qu4tro. this one is both cheaper, has longer range, is lighter and to me looks way better. i just have to save up to get one of these

Waiting for an electric skateboard that can go atleast 36 mph and 30 mile range. That's my ideal board right there.
