Add the Miles board! You can buy them now or on indigogo way cheaper but won't be delivered until after Xmas.... On their website they offer review units to influencer's! If they give you one too review I'd be most happy to take which ever one you like least, even pay for the shipping!

Hi Talon I think you and Andrew Penman do the best E Board reviews on youtube. I have just bought my second Koowheels D3M Gen 2 board. Not that I had any problems with the first other than my youngest son (29 Years old) kept borrowing it. I let him have that one and got a new one for myself. I am nearly 60 and love skating to work and around town on this board. The only thing I did to both boards was to replace the bushings with Bones Medium as the ones they come with are quite hard. Really enjoy the reviews, keep em coming.

Hai Talon, great review. have you heard about carvon exo? it's basically koowheel with some modification on the hub motor so it still can use the regular loangboard wheels. I think the ride will be much much more soft and comfortable.

I really enjoy your reviews on these boards. Koowheel seems to be the best balance of price and performance. I was wondering what would be the range of this board if you were not going 20 plus miles but rather only cruising around 10-15 miles an hour or just at the slow setting. One should get more range right?

@@shneakoshorts9272 I never saw this till now. If your riding in constant water. I’m not sure this would be for you. It looks reasonably weather sealed but, if you hit a puddle it might be game over. I wouldn’t take mine through anything other then thin surface water residue.

Hi Talon, Thanks for a great vid! Have you tried the app that's available on the appstore? I'm considering buying one of these and just want to get as much info as possible before I do. I can tell that you have had it for a few weeks now - Has your opinion changed in regards to how you feel about the board? I live in Denmark where we often have medium/heavy winds. Do you think that the motors are strong enough to battle winds, or do you think it will slow the board significantly?

I've had tons of fun on this board, it's exceptional for the price. After a year of using this board, sadly it broke. The bearings rust when water gets into them. This wouldn't be a problem if the motor bearings weren't sealed in and of different size than standard skateboard bearings. However, I could still ride it. OMW into the city I let it drop off a step really softly after which the motherboard gave up. I've decided to go belt drive for easier maintenance.

@@alexandremartins1462 The battery connector got bent and shorted after I think a rough insertion, I soldered wires from the battery to the mobo. Over time vibrations will damage the connector too.

Sick review! Looking at getting into the e board game. I rode my buddy’s evolve carbon fiber GT for a day and loved it but Not sure I want to splurge at that price point just yet. This seems like a great entry board for the price point. Just subbed! Mahalo

The gun content is interesting but this is a nice change from that. I'm not personally a huge gun person though I do appreciate your unbiased opinions and reviews of firearms, you sort of talk about them in ways that novices can understand. Being a skateboarder myself this is something that catches my eye a little more. Update videos on some of the boards of the past would be cool, maybe one video to cover a few of them at once since we have seen the overall first review video to begin with.

I have the gen1, Check the trucks, mine came loose I ended up adding locetite. Gen1 also has issues with the board cutting off. Looks like they fixed that issue with a new mobo

Hi I have been looking around at different boards and I do really like the Koowheel 2nd Gen board and you give it a pretty good rating. I've never had a electric skateboard and this seems perfect for me. I'm in the UK and there selling them on eBay and I can get one for £449. Would you recommend me buying this Board ? Thanks Mark

Love your videos. Never used a skateboard, only E-bikes. Quick question: If you are at top speed, can you come to a complete sudden stop if someone cuts in front of you? Big concern for me. I am used to hydraulic brakes on my E-bike which are very efficient when faced with this kind of situation. Just curious for safety reasons. Reply please. THX!

No he will not. Because this board is absolute trash and it probably broke. He got spondored by koowheel and can't say anything bad about it. 100% sure. Check Koowheel website. Talon is the biggest headline they show

I'm considering buying an "E-board" - I Have about 2 km (1.2 miles) to get to the train each morning to get to work.. Biking is fine I guess but I'm thinking of spicing it up a little bit. I never rode before though, how steep is the learning curve on these things?

Been awhile since I've stood on a skateboard but I will say I used to hate standing on longboards, having the tail for the rear foot was so much more comfortable, also made all the difference in the world for dealing with cracks and other road hazards. Are there any like regular boards that are done as electric?

Holy shit Parth, what a coincidense to see you here! I use my Koowheel 2nd gen almost every day for grocery shopping and skating around just for fun. Super fast and sweet board, but sure could use a tail for very narrow streets. It does the job for me as commuting, but I will definitely get a "fun" board sometime later. -I reached ~50km/h on a little downhill with the Koowheel btw, and 40 - 42 on flat (SMOOTH!) surface.

+Jeep thats awesome, how long have you had the board now and how is the battery holding up? ive bought 3 electric skateboards which all have ended in the same way. with the battery being no longer chargeable. this skateboard seems to be quite the upgrade from the cheap ones i have been buying. hoping to buy it in 4 days but would like to know if its good long term board

It's been alright, but I recently had a bad crash, due to the remote/battery (?) losing connection while going highest speed on a little downhill. The board started breaking and kicked me off by doing that. The board broke, but I sent it to Koowheel who then repaired it, and sent it back free of charge. If you want to go highest speed, it's going to be for a very limited amount of time. Perhaps 10 - 15 minutes of 42km/hr, but then it will disable the high speed feature, and force you to drive around 20km/hr, which is also a nice speed for my type of commute (city). All in all, the board is definitely worth it, due to the super low price, and it actually does feel like it has the quality you pay for.

+Jeep Thanks on the update, im looking at a battle between this board at $789NZD and a SYL-09 Electric skateboard @ the same price, with the only difference being one comes from china and this board being shipped to me from a shop in my country. the SYL-09 can go off road and hit speeds of 40km/hr and ranges of 30km (apparently) its a really hard decision as im a student and this would be my 4th board in the past 2 years the others being a benchwheel, meepo and a wowgo, all which broke due to battery problems, all not under warranty.

I need one with offroad air filled tires for dirt trail riding.. I got a trail that is like 100 miles long that goes across mid Michigan, it was the old railroad tracks that they made for bicycles and walking.. call rails to trails.. only bad thing is theres no motorized vehicles allowed, I don't consider a longboard a vehicle though

Hi Talon, do you know if this board is allowed on international flights, as you mentioned a swappable battery. I think the KW has to be below a set limit, 150 (I think). Great videos by the way.

How do the koowheel compare to the backfire 2 ? How is the difference between the height of the two boards cuz I like lower boards, that's more comfortable for me. What's about flax and wheel height ? Is there a big difference between the wheels of the koowheel and the backfire ? AND big point, how about taking the board by plain ? Great review! I'm in Boca Raton, about to buy this board! Price looks right and I'm digging the swap-able battery! Unless you got any other suggestions :D Update! This board shit the bed within 2 months. A component fell off the controller board connected to the battery. Don't buy cheap Chinese boards, no customer support.
