Agreed, it’s better to confront the root of the problem rather than avoiding it by adapting the lone wolf mentality. As long as the root is still there the problem still remains, can’t keep the mentality up forever.
Wait does it actually let you do that? I know it lets you buy the shards but you can't get wallbreakers early since they patched the season shop, does it just auto unlock wallbreakers for you if you do buy the evolution?
As someone who's been on that grindset for the last month n a half, I can 100% confirm this as truth. I've just become burned the fuck out, and I'm not fun to be around cuz I'm always tired, and irritable. Now all things I tried to stay away from are what is slowly consuming my life cuz I'm so drained of fun and happiness. Absolutely miserable life. Yes, grind n get ur paper boo. Work hard, of course. But don't let one thing consume your whole life. Work on a way to balance it out.

Clash Royale, they put a over powered evolution in the shop for $15 AUD and once they get enough money, they nerf the evolution into the ground, so the F2P players finally getting the card just for it to get nerfed

What if you are trying to be accomplished in a field so competitive that you have to grind in order to keep up due to not having the intelligence to slacken your workload and be more social? For instance, coming from a less than prestigious school, trying to maintain a 4.0, and trying to get into a prestigious graduate school that you can't afford on scholarship? - I'm not in this situation personally but I've had a hard time giving this person the same advice that you're giving.
Not defending supercell for all the wack decisions they've been making recently but you can get the evolved wall breakers with evolution shards if you've been collecting them for 6 months like I did
