The weight retainer clip looks interesting, however you elude to not adding carp tax, but the price of them tells a different story! I will take a miss on these.
Years ago I got our lass to squirt in a tub . I always had the tub in my bag with me and I I used to dip my sweetcorn and boilie hookbaits in it before casting out ... Never caught as many carp
It looks neat but what benefit does this add over the more conventional systems they are referring to? Doesnt seem to be a benefit to add the complexity of adding the + or - setting
James seems like a very nice bloke and obviously knows his stuff. Definitely gonna check this gear out, appears really well thought through and good quality. Great vid. 👍🏻
Mmmmm...comes under the need or want category...... definitely isn't a need!....just more crap to sell to the tackle tarts and to keep the marketing people busy!
There's nothing here that's going to catch you more fish. Nothing you cant do with parts in the your tackle box already. I can do this exact principle with 1 bead costing less than 10p. Any rig where the lead can slide up and down the line can only be used in barren weed and snag free venues. The last thing you want is playing a carp via a pivot point. If you don't understand that dropping a lead, particularly heavy leads, the moment the hook is set you really shouldn't be talking to others about carp fishing.
I've seen you before making moronic statements like this, if you are catching carp where a 3oz lead acts as a pivot point you shouldn't be talking to others about carp fishing.
@CymruCelt01 Once he said that carp don't feed on loose feed/ground bait or something equivalent...he claimed what was happening is that small snails etc were feeding on the loose feed and the carp were eating the snails lol. And yet we have dozens of underwater vids now showing carp happily feeding on boilies etc with not an invertebrate in sight.. Snails and the like mainly congregate in the marginal areas so it's not that likely they'll be out in the middle of a lake.
to understand how things move in water you need a super computer. So how do anglers know how a bait behaves in a vortex of water going in and out of a carp's mouth? They don't. So until you do know that, you cant form any idea of mechanics because you dont know what the problem is.
Why make it where the lead is fixed tho on the running clip? Why not make it the same as a lead clip where the lead can slide off as well so as not to make it fully fixed. Otherwise, I've now gotta use something like c clips from thinking anglers to make the lead come off should it snag on something. You've missed a trick there seriously!
