That acid cloud situation in the cave was deadly hilarious! I couldn’t breath for the duration of H being knocked out. My face probably turned purple. Great video!!!!
Yup... as I said before, you might be an invincible demigod capable of clearing caves without trouble, but a dirty vanilla purlovia or microraptor can still ruin your day.
Treasure dino's (unlike Loot) don't give you loot, they just highlight all treasure chests with a green beam (like the deathbeam) for a period of time. btw, if you can tame and tier up any lucky dino (loot, treasure, essence, paragon, etc..) they are beasts with their dmg reduction and inherent dodge abilities.
Gotta reroll those imbued saddles if they don't look good. You can get crazy boost in melee damage. Highest I've gotten is 92% But Damage Reduction % is better to aim for, until you get your hands on a great damage dealer. Mammoths do well but you can farm certain creatures much faster for stat potions upgrades, like Direwolves, Spiders, Sabers, Yetis, in the snow caves :) Love the series. Great to see new people taking it on and learning along the way
@@ogsassofrass5326 Rampage and Banshee. Hmm wouldn't count on it being amazing help. A better idea would be get a smaller mount, where you can use weapons, wear the Soul Scream set and throw the spear and poke for double curse debuffs. Lots more damage. Could also suggest Purgatory but it's a Legendary so harder to come by.
If you want a real quick way to rack up souls & essence, find the unique manta and tame it. Ride around on it in the sea and auto collect that loot. (Going on the ASE version, not played the ASA Omega, but guessing it's the same). I can't remember it's name, but I'm sure someone in will, who reads this. It basically hurts stuff constantly as it gets near, so use a immortal potion to tame it, ot stay at a distance. (you'll be fine once it's yours ofc)
A useful variant to get would be a the Disruptor (7th variant from the ethereal group), it can prevent enemies from using their abilities for a short time, aka harder time for them to heal.
It's quite odd, I remember on ASE you used to be able to damage dino while they are gorgon and you'd actually deal extra damage. I guess it's Hexen's way to nerf a bit Mythical dinos cause they are VERY strong on ASE. Mating unique dinos works differently, you'll get there, it's not standard breeding :D

Just an idea...how about getting colossal direwolves? they would then also get pack buff too increasing damage and such too. even throw in some other direwolves too as long as they're direwolf they get pack buff I believe
Direwolves are actually pretty good in this mod. Unique direwolf is called Frostbite and is a mix of Zombie and Coldsnap. It is extremely powerful at night. Unfortunately, there are no unique saddles, otherwise Lone Wolf would've been a great one, as it allows getting pack buff alone.
We did ours on foot/ wing suit lol me with abrupttion set minus the gauntlets that where bloodlust my friend with the full blood set shield and blood whip me with one of the broomsticks also found a cool axe that u can only use at knight and stacks damage each atk ...pretty cool
Uniques don't ussually get paragon levels right away the saber has paragon levels because it is a paragon and all paragon creatures have paragon levels right off the bat
A little tip i learned from watching Willy and DMac.. If you dont wanna know it, skip the rest of the comment.. ❤ I have no idea how you do it, but you can craft Omega potions.. One of those is a Siren potion that does the same as the Siren creatures (freezing them), if consumed (by you) in close proximity to a creature/boss ... That maaaaay be the way to go for those fairys... (I dont know any more about this mod than what I see from yours and their playthroughs, but I know that that potion did help them when they were fighting bosses on foot..
If I remember correctly, there are two variants that disable enemy abilities. Disruptor and Element. Some abilities are still used when creature is under some sort of control, so that is not a reliable method. Our first strategy was to cheese grind enemies by using Demon variant to take it under control... but all that fell apart when a possessed creature just used a blizzard anyway, killing us. Alternatively, stacking Lethal debuff can work really well, Velonasaur is a perfect creature for that due to rapid attacking.
Hey Raas, I wish you would do an omega guide. I’m so confused on breeding and how to level things up and how boss fighting tiers and everything work. Also best settings for an ark server. I’m just so overwhelmed hahahah

There are ways to select which boss variant you get. if you put a variant soul in plus 100 of any type soul, it comes out that variant. So if you put a colossus variant soul in the trophy slot then 100 ethereal souls (for example), you always get a colossus boss. How to get those souls? Elite tier+ of anything tends to drop them.

If I remember correctly, breeding uniques is possible, but you need paragon souls for that. Which is why I never bothered doing that. Those souls are already fairly scarce, and wasting one for each breed attempt is just too much. When I played it, we had Frenzy Shadowmanes instead, after a lot of days and 5 S+ Mutators, we had them at over 200 base health and attack. Despite having a lower multiplier than a unique, its stats carried hard.
WTH been playing this mod on centre for quite few weeks now and not found a single manticore but u found 2 in less then a week lol started way before u did as well don’t get me wrong I got lot good tames on apex tier but the dodowyv and manticore are the only 2 boss ones I can’t find 😢
Does anyone know why i can't find the pyromane mod? I'm on xbox and have bobs tall tales yet I can't find where to buy pyromane (I just wanna see it, I dont know if I'd buy it)
