Oh, you've unlocked the plaguefork. It was a weapon I've been using near endgame, it's perfect for clearing caves. Though I had an ascendant one with max damage due to an upgrade table. I believe you can increase a quality tier of a weapon with imbue workbench. After that, I used an upgrade table (different mod) to make a blueprint out of that, drink a crafting potion and use that blueprint to craft, throwing stats as high as possible. But even without an upgrade table, imbue workbench should still have that option to tier up weapons. But yeah, plaguefork was my favorite weapon. Its damage is huge, and it was always fun roleplaying an angry peasant.
Okay, I thought I was going crazy cause I remember that void wormhole in the last video that was 3 days ago. I check the descriptions and this one is episode 13 while the ones that was 3 days ago was episode 14. Not sure why Raas did these two out of order, but it confuse the hell out of me. Honestly, it's just funny watching Raas running around with his short fellow just mowing down creatures on foot until he took on metal dung beetle and got "pooped" on. Quite literally. 😆 So much different from regular Ark. Omega is definitely more for those that want a more action pack and chaotic experience of Ark. Maybe I'll give it a try someday.
@@Raasclark Ah I see it now. I was checking the descriptions of the videos that I forgot to look for a comment by you, but it's all good. I mean these things happen. I would have left the video up too, cause it's already uploaded and would be too much trouble to change it after it's uploaded. I still really enjoyed both of the videos and have been enjoying this series.
he's been playing solo island on his channel, and no not really! omega is SO DIFFERENT that he's not learning the base game; he's constantly baffled by basic features of vanilla ark. he's not exactly playing ark as we know it with omega, and that's kind of the point OF omega existing--its supposed to be an overhaul experience for experienced players looking for something new but familiar.
@@riverransom Ahhhh the only time I checked his channel was when they did their first duo with Sons of the Forest and it was dead. Good to know he's putting stuff up now, I'll check it out! And yeah the play is SO different it would be like learning a new game....but familiar haha
@@shotgunbettygaming its a LOT of fun to watch him play! it's like getting to experience ark for the first time again, while helping him build his following and have fun learning about the game that his brother loves so much
I've noticed that you don't use any health potions. It is impossible to progress any further without health potions. Craft a few hundreds of each one, and have them all active at all times, while you're fighting a boss. Combining all potions together, will increase the healing rate, and will help you keep your health full during the battle. For the later bosses, you'll need to tame some 7th variant dinos. Search the Omega guide for the abilities of each 7th variant dino. Keep up the great work!
For killing bosses on foot, you want to get your player rank as high as possible, to the point where next step is killing bosses. You also want to make rampage potions and maybe magic find potions.
@@charlesingram9471 you aren't confusing the two. Omega has them as well I think they are called hunger potions or something like that though. Its been a few months since I played it but I know they exist.
@@aquaverdea i wasnt sure if it was a potion mod i was thinking of i tried on our servers once, but something in the back of my mind said there was on Omega. Loved the mod on ASE, im waiting for hexen to add more stuff before i play again because ill get bored quick if all the stuff isnt there
@@charlesingram9471 haha yeah it's definitely missing a few things rn. Since the unique saddles aren't in I just did full completion on foot and that was super fun. Once he releases the unique saddles I'll definitely be back to it.
H always sleepin on the job🤭😋 Gah the learning curve of this mod is insane and im dying to try it out! This vid is my fav I think, seeing all the new cool thingies in detail and watching you mass slaughter everything. It was good! ❤
I'm guessing this video was supposed to have been uploaded before the manticore video, but something wasn't right with the original upload, so raas had to re-upload it
I feel you are starting to realise how effective small tames are now. What if i told you one of the most powerful boss fighting techniques on ASEwas with a pygmy army because of their stat boosts and again because of a particular saddle that give pygmys a massive pack buff, another important highly sought after boss fighting tame was the unique shinehorn, because it has Frenzy which is an important one to have on bosses for the dmg buff the unique turtle has frenzy too and can be used until you find the shinehorn. if its in the game, i know there is still some stuff to be added so cant say for sure, cant wait for Hexen to fix the unique dino skins on some dinos too, i think Zytharian Critters still has to be added yet too which adds some nice dinos
how do you increase manticore and dragon spawns on your omega map? We have not had any spawn and its been a couple weeks playing. Our map is the center.
Have to say, not a fan of the Omega series of videos. Way too departed from normal ark gameplay to the point that it is absurd. I guess I'll just stick to the monarky stuff for now.
@@Kletke84 No i agree, omega is too much... feels very far from ''survival'' like being able to one shot dinos with your player gives very sandbox vibes. Dont get me wrong i prefer modded but not over the top modded like this is.
Omega is very different but also very difficult, and survival wise sure you can one shot lots after lots of hours … but he can barely even touch the low level bosses right now …
@@Alaridesign Omega is indeed different, it takes away the survival aspect. As for the bosses i mean yeah you need grind a bit to kill them but that doesnt mean its difficult, the survival aspect and the general feeling of ark is still gone which is what we are talking about. If you like omega that's fine, but since its so crazy over the top modded it divides the playerbase quite a bit as for who likes the mod and who doesn't like it.
@@Kletke84 Yet I've somehow gone 7k+ hours between ASE and ASA just playing modded without total conversion mods like Omega. Almost like with mods you can play how you like and still enjoy the game.
