If you use 4k blood you gain 1000, but lose 20% on dismissals with this strat for a net gain of 200 blood. First place is 800 extra so best case is 1k gained. If you use 4k blood on generals you want to keep you don’t lose the 20% on dismissals and gain 1k blood. Any blood from placing is icing on the cake. By trying to cheat the system you end up with at best the same gains as only using 4k on generals you want to keep. In my opinion the only time to do the dismissals method is if you don’t have anyone you want to/can ascend and just want to pull in 200 blood and not waste the event
I'm just happy to know I can get blood of Ares back from a general I regret enhancing. I've literally just dismissed 2 generals I had 1 at level 3 and 1 at level 4, and was able to fully enhance another one to level 5 i had been working on.
Don't forget to do this with your family members too, and when you're done earning blood, just use it in the event and claim super resource chests. You end up getting 206 super resource chests for every 124 blood of ares that you use, and really, who needs blood of ares in a family member.
OK I did simple calculation to determine the maximum benefit of this method, and the best situation is to ascend 2 generals to 7stars + 2 generals to 6stars and dismiss them. that can get you 200+ bloods and 3980 points. then you can work on your targeted generals to double the score
@zeesh8bp do 2 generals 7 times enhance+ 2 generals 6 times, then dismiss them. You will get your BOAs back +200 more from redeem+3980 points. Then, you can enhance your favorite generals to increase the score

You are not getting all blood of ares that you spent... It has fee for this.. for example to do 1 red star you ll spend 620 blood of ares but when you dismiss it gives you back 496.
Do the math. You end up +31 per 6* gen plus the event ending ranking. 620-496 = -124. 620/4= 155. 155-114. = 31 positive blood. Plus event ending ranking
But because of this tactic everyone is doing this and now our top 10 is starting with 30 k score and tenth is 20 k around.. so i did the math for stay in top ten it is waste of blood of ares because 11th will get 50 boa or something....
i don't understand why you would do this unless you only had a small amount of bloods, less than 5 k. if you have a high amount of bloods each event, dismissing generals is a waste of bloods and you gain nothing from it. you lose whatever amount was lost from the dismissals, no net gain
the net positive is the rewards for finishing high in this event, plus you won't lose much BOA when you recover them in the rewards.You can get a ton of speeds and generals for ascending. normal players never have a "high amount" of BOA every event nor really ever. That way of thinking is for players that spend regularly.
When the new event started it wasnt on our server. There was a patch like 3 hours after the new events started and they added Trial of knights. Check to make sure there wasnt a patch. It came out later in the afternoon for Apple users.
Basically, a coiners event. As, you have to perfectly dismiss the general many times at 10k gems each time plus the gold spent to raise him up. A pittance once we start coining. As, we can get 60k gems with a $10pack? But, it's a case of the rich getting richer. Once we start coining, we're locked into the game. Devious.
Or have a general with many fragments so less times dismissing. With relics I have a couple generals with 300 fragments. Only have to dismiss twice to get a good score.
I don't spend much on my little friend, so I have totally been doing this and I just recycle my blood and never do a final use and that is how I am getting 16 copies of a general without spending money!
Every time you do this, you LOSE 20% of the Blood of Ares you used! (you get back 80% only). For 2x Red Star you need to spend 1370 and you get back 1096 -> meaning you lose 274 Blood of Ares. Without confusing people about the maths... if you do this to get all the blood of ares from the store, you will end up with 30x Bloods more than when you started. Dont over do it, else you will have a net negative bloods at the end even if you get a good ranking position. Make sure you know exactly what you are doing... else you will lose bloods... (not mentioning the Medals+Gold+Gems you need to spend to get this small amount of Bloods)
Didn't realize you get more blood back when you would ascend higher. I always try to ascend as high as I can because it cost less gems in the dismissal
Trail of Knights is BS... Pretty much for Coiners... It's a little ridiculous..And when you dismiss..You don't get back what you put in..This game has found ways to rob the Players over the last 4 years...

if evony changes what we receive back after perfect dismissing generals you will be to blame lol. this "trick" has been around so long and didn't need the limelight
@@Hev.M there’s multiple videos about this over the last few years so this just means you don’t search evony content. Glad it helped you though, but it still didn’t need attention given evony always changes stuff that helps players. Hope you rank high in the event
For low level keeps with un ascended gens yes it is. Once you are K39+ all your marching gens should be finished and the 10k days of speed ups you can get here are far more valuable. I average around 20k points in this event and I’m not a heavy coiner.
How is it a waste. Start off with 4000 blood of ares end at the end with 200 with the only cost for me is medals plus 20k gems as I have to do it on two generals. You get the general fragments back as well. So the only cost is gems and time for extra blood.
