Ewan McGregor has just got to be the most sympathetic Actor alive. Everytime you see him in a Role you just think that it is the perfect fit and anytime you see an interview he just seems so nice, fun, easy going... Just the part with the drinking: Yeah I drank, everyone does at the age and then I grew up and I stopped. No regret thing or that he was f***ing up or anything, just like a normal person or as he would probably say, a regular bloke who just has alot of money and is well known.
He is just such a great actor... And he really shined in Star Wars... It might be Anakins Story but Ewan McGregor as Obi Wan was and will always be my true hero!
that story about episode iii is fantastic. I hope he can come back as Obi-Wan for the new films in some capacity. I'd like to see him come back to the role. I think he never really got the chance to make it what he wanted.
yes, it is a Scottish accent, though he explained on Craig Ferguson that he doesn't use his full on accent when doing press and what not , especially in the states
