Alex, you are right about Star Wars finding people no matter what we do. Two weeks ago, I took my dad's things out of storage because he's in jail and we could no longer afford to keep paying each month. Among his things I found a Revenge of the Sith Scrapbook, a magazine about the making of Return of the Jedi, a magazine from 2007 that celebrates the 30th anniversary of star Wars, and a talking Stormtrooper toy. My dad never mentioned having those things and he never really seemed to be a big fan. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

The more organic focus would be mirroring Attack of the Clones, which would be Obi-wan going to Mandalore and confronting the legacy of the wife he couldn't have While Darth Vader somewhat confronts without meeting with Obi-wan necessarily, his own wife Both of course can meet on Clone Wars flashbacks. Their wife can do stuff. They get to do Darth Maul. They get to play with Obi-wan Kenobi having a lost son in Korkie, and fear of failing Luke and Leia, like he did Anakin. Bo Katan and Korkie being the age to be Obi-wan's biological son is enough of a proxy, Bo Katan being Satine's failed sister is also enough of a proxy to Anakin And of course they can do in live-action the lost Clone Wars episode where Obi-wan and Anakin reflect on failing Ahsoka. That way you get a Death Star tease
Only thing I really want is Obi learning to be a force ghost. Have him face trials each episode and eventually have force hallucinations to past things like Maul killing Qui-Gon, Satine, Obi fighting Anakin, etc.
I think Reba should struggle with the dark side, Obi-Wan and Yoda are pretty adamant that there's no coming back from it in the OT, so having Reva unable to break free from that would support that position. I also like Anakin being able to turn back as part of what makes him the chosen one.
Here's my pitch for the Obi-Wan follow-up: Star Wars Survivors. It follows The Path as the try to usher a force-sensitive person to safety. Questions come up about getting the rest of the family to safety and if they can join The Path. Obi-Wan comes to terms with the Jedi practice of ripping a kid away from their family, as that was a major reason why Anakin succumbed to the dark side. During his meditation, he sees what the universe would have been like if Shmi had been rescued too.
I always love Obi-Wan's surprised joy when he sees Quinlan's name in the Path hideout. After all they went through in Clone Wars and Dark Disciple it was nice for Obi-Wan to know that one of his old friends besides Yoda made it out.
Is there a way to keep reading about the bad batch and there stories between the flash jump in the last episode? Do we know if omega will come back, maybe in the grogo movie? When is the hyperspace bad batch comic set in the time line? The Rey movie will any other characters come back in this maybe Finn, will he become a Jedi? Do you think Star Wars will be called away from the Skywalker saga once the Rey movie comes out? Is Skeleton crew part of the Skywalker saga?
It feels so unnecessary to make another Kenobi show, his story is done and told. Despite the reception of the Acolyte, we should still push for shows with new and not as explored eras and new characters. We cannot continue to revisit the Skywalker saga, it will get old and stale.
I agree. We should push for newer shows of new eras. But my prequel heart would like to see obi wan in clone wars armor. Maybe a one shot movie or a short would be cool with Ewan Mcgregor
I didnt mind the Kenobi show besides to me its Like seeing Prequel-Gandalf series from LOTR Obi-Wan is one of my favorites its not on top of my list like The Mandalorian and Grogu(2026) but I'm still gonna watch also it can win back some fans back we need that it shouldn't just be up to the final season of Andor.
The casual audience has NO interest in other eras. NONE. Look at Marvel…as soon as the focus shifted from Iron Man, Hulk, Cap to other less well know characters what happened to the Box Office? It plummeted and now a course redirect. Star Wars the same…keep the other eras and less obscure characters to the comics, animation at al otherwise the casual fan stays away and Star Wars becomes niche.
Flashback Clone Wars Kenobi Anakin and Ahsoka would be awesome. Youngling Reva scene would be a must. But the series are all going to show some low budget looking sets as in the original movies. Kenobi could have been a movie but fans gave poor response to Solo film.
I think a season 2 really needs to be mostly Obi Wan reflecting on the past. You'd have to think someone like that traumatized by all the war and his brother becoming Darth Vader and leaving him in pieces and having killed the younglings etc. We could spend a lot of time in live action versions of the clone wars hell even the Genddy Tarkovski elements as well. Let see that scene where Grievous kills all the jedi in that horror movie style scene. Hell maybe even make it a movie and give us these live action elements. Maybe Obi Wan can go off world and leave a droid or some thing behind to watch Luke. Maybe he goes and visits Yoda who knows. But in the only thing to refresh Star Wars now is to bring these fan favorite moments to life. They need to bring people back into theaters
Nah, OBi-Wan is good as a one series kinda thing. We just needed that lil bit of closer for when he gets his mojo back. I think S2 could make things go wrong, it left with closure. We don't need to overdo it
Star Wars explained I'm glad the Kenobi is getting another season. What about the book of Boba Fett will it get another season as well? Maybe he can help the new Republic and if he does maybe fett can get his pardon and be able to roam free without the new Republic chasing after him. Also, I still have High Hopes like everyone out. There was a true Star Wars fan that The ACOLYTE will be resurrected and when it does it'll get another season and he'll get hope to people out there many Star Wars. I want a season two of BoBF as well. And to add onto your part about Boba helping the New Republic, I would love if season 2’s first episode started with Omega meeting Boba and reuniting with Fennic and then asking for their help on behalf of the New Republic in dealing with another criminal syndicate. Just speculating here, but maybe it could even be the canon version of The Zann Consortium, who are building up their forces on Hypori after reactivating an old separatist droid factory there, which is part of one of the main story missions of the Zann Consortium’s Campaign in Empire At War. Exiting speculation, regardless of who or what the New Republic needs Boba to help them with, I firmly believe that they should bring in Adult Omega as a liaison between Boba and The New Republic. I can even picture the scene perfectly, with Fennec not recognizing Omega until she brings up the events from Bad Batch season 1 on Pantora and Bora Vio. And Fennec says Omega’s name quietly, then Boba asks Fennec who this woman is, and Omega responds with “My name is Omega. And I’m your sister, Boba.” Then cut back to a surprised Boba as the theme song builds up and then cue the title card. Oh and lastly, if they do bring in Omega and don’t title her debut episode “Alpha And Omega”, then they’re doing something VERY wrong. Tl;DR: Adult Omega should be the New Republic’s representative that goes to Boba for help.
Q&A: Depending what we might witness on the Rotten Tomatoes Reviews for The Mandalorian and Grogu and Skeleton Crew before they aired. What are your predictions on what numbers in RT might show up for Mandalorian and Grogu film and The Skeleton Crew might end up with or do you think they might end up with the similar faith on what happened to The Acoylte's reviews made Season 2 cancelled?
I would absolutely watch another season of Obi-Wan Kenobi or something else that would bring him back. Clearly these actors have so much passion and love for the roles and if they want to come back again, I hope they get the opportunity. I think the best avenue for it would be an anthology type structure, maybe The Journals of Obi-Wan Kenobi and we can have Ben tell adventures from the past for Luke to listen to some day while conversing with Qui-Gon in the present as part of his training. That has a lot of potential and wouldn't feel like trying to oneup the Vader rematch. Seeing Ewan and Hayden both in the Clone Wars armor would be a dream come true for any TCW fan and it would be a chance to explore any lingering effects of the fall of the Jedi on Kenobi beyond just Anakin as he becomes the sage mentor Luke meets in ANH 29:30 This just reinforces my personal belief that Yoda knew about Anakin and Padmé (obviously not because they're the worst kept secret ever) but he never did anything about it because he didn't care or because he considered them friends or whatever the reason. There are moments with Anakin where Yoda will call him on his emotions, especially where Padmé is involved, when he feels Anakin is getting too involved and he's usually right but he never patronises Anakin in those moments or anything, he just seems friendly and supportive, probably holding on to some of that High Republic way of thinking. It's basically the same situation as Avar and Elzar so it's interesting to see Yoda act this way with both couples at two different times I also really appreciate Molly's reaction to her new glasses in the intro. That's totally how it goes. You really feel the difference with a new pair of glasses and how I felt when I got my latest pair😂
They should make season 2 of Kenobi tie into the Solo movie. Bring in Darth Maul, Kira, even Lando! Good cameos and story continuity for those characters/actors.
Sleepy Hollow for spooky season. For SW I'd like to see a live action Clone Wars movie/show. Then you can seperate Reva from Obi-Wan in a different show about her redemption and possible work with the Path.

I do remember from Legends in (I think) The Crystal Star Luke and Han having a chat about the Jedi and Relationships and if Luke as a Jedi can had romance and Han summing it up more or less as "Well , Little Jedi have to come from somewhere don't they?" This was well before the prequels but I found it very sensible.
I love Star Wars references, watched Rich House/Poor House and the mother of the Walker family was named Skye so the narrator paused and emphasized it. Discovered the joy of The Goldbergs, in Murray's disrupted nap rage with a Vader mask strapped on his face and a lightsaber taped to his hand, he says why are you pulling this crap, I am your father, Adam reciting Luke's lines.

Obi-wan helps Reva meet the path, and she runs into young Jedi she had hunted as an inquisitor. One gets captured at end of the preview review episodes and she has to put the armor back on to rescue the padawan. Ends with a rematch of her and Vader. She dies to Vader as Obi-wan gets the prisoners away. Maybe end on Transelor.
Call the show, The Path of the Jedi: set during the empire era, features all those characters. And it directly sets up the status quo of the sequel era force users and Rey’s upcoming group- those that follow “the path of the Jedi” but are not Jedi.
Ben Kenobi could even be the first of that group. Living secretly on Tatooine, helping those in need, but staying off the empires radar. Could be a number of these types of people that are retroactively revealed to have been individually opposing the first order and Rey being the one that brings them all together again as an Order. Luke had assembled some of them but they grew vary of his approach when Ben Solo fell. Rey has to convince them to join her new Path.
The new Kenobi series could be an anthology, with 3-4 episodes focusing on a different main character. Starting with Obi-Wan finding a young girl who reminds him of Leia and helps him enter The Path. Then, they are passed on to the other characters in turn. 🤔
Season 2 Idea: Ahsoka needs help finding something on Tatooine and runs into Obi Wan. They reminice about the past (flashback) and a potential danger for the future

CRAZY idea about a Path show. What if like Fear Street on Netflix it is a two part story with one being live action and one being animated but both are dealing with the same threat to the path. Very unlikely but I just love the idea of one story being told both in live action and animation.
If they were truly having talks for years behind the scenes with Ewan about exploring Obi-Wan's character more, it was a very stupid decision to put out the official bluray saying its "the complete series". I do think that should stay a limited series, and if they end up doing more with the character, it should be a separate thing that doesn't have him and Vader fight again. They were already pushing it with the fight they had, another one just would not make sense for their meeting in A New Hope. I would love a Path series though. I am curious about Reva as well, and now that Ventress is in play again, I definitely would like to see them do something with her.

i know i will always enjoy more Ewan as Obi Wan but i think if any star wars tv show NEEDS a season 2, it would be Book of Boba Fett! in my opinion, it is the most misunderstood show and it still has so much potential.. i really hope they haven’t given up entirely on it 😞

Why not? Kenobi was so lazily put together it wouldn’t take a lot to make season 2. It will also give Disney another opportunity to break more original trilogy canon.

No season 2. I love the character. I sort of enjoyed the series, but I feel they already told the main story. Not in the best way...but main story was told. Would Love to see Obi-wan specific episodes in Tales of the Jedi.
I dumped D+ after Obi-Wan S1. It was the straw that broke the camel’s back. A S2 sounds terrible which is disappointing because Ewan McGregor is in my top five favorite actors.
Kenobi looked like junk not because of the budget but because the necessary expertise was missing in terms of the volume and, well, in general. Some random effects artist from the Andor crew has been fixing the show by himself. You can throw all the money in the world at someone who doesn't know what they're doing and still get a bad result
