@@HELL0NESSA He seems like a 'manly man' type of guy. I think a lot of his identity was tied up in providing for his family, and he thought if he couldn't do it he would be a failure. It seems he was willing to do ANYTHING rather than not be a good provider (though his familiarity with the structure of crime and loyalty suggests he was more involved than this incident, but perhaps that is his prison experience.) I think boys should be taught that it's ok to fail sometimes and start over, that your identity is more than how much you can bring home or what lifestyle you can provide for your family. Of course he has to feed his kids, but they could have downsized and laid low until he could make money again.

Watch Escape at Dannemora. Mini TV series show based on a real life prison break that happened in 2015 at Clinton Correctional Facility in upstate New York. Fantastic acting by Paul Dano and Benicio del Toro. Definitely recommend watching if you liked Prison break. Only difference is, this was real!

Brandon ES that would be amazing actually my grandpa is related to the Sicilian family that was around during ww2. and i’m also somehow related to al capone and multiple other ties to the mafia. there’s a mafia documentary out there somewhere that includes my great uncle his son and my step grandpa. all of them still have ties to the mafia today. watching a former or current mafia boss play a mafia game would be just amazing to me considering my background.
