Can I just ask which investment bank you worked for? Or how you went from labouring to investment banking? Seems extremely rare/almost impossible for a labourer with no degree to get a job in an investment bank. Not knocking just extremely curious to know how you did it and what exactly you did for this “investment bank”. Thanks

Yep. None of this is useful without knowing how he got into it in the first place. Less about the side hustles, more about how you managed to go from a labourer to an investment banker immediately. I have to imagine that part is left out for a reason. The real “secret to making money” isn’t learning DIY or doing side hustled on your laptop… it’s being an investment banker!!

your leaving out Risk on your property calculation. its VERY risky to have properties where you cant cover the mortgage in the case of a problem. plenty people have built up nice property portfolios only to have it all crash down when there's any sort off blip in the market right now for example credit went from being very affordable to not so much. If you have 3 properties you have to re mortgage your outgoings are going to go up significantly and you cant start doubling the rent!

Dude, I am in confirmation bias listening to you but I have started plotting my life in the same trajectory as you. I never went for the beaten path. I moved to London from Italy and lived there in the same nonsensical way as the 99%. Extended a property in Balham with a friend, then Brexit happened and moved to the Netherlands. I found a gold mine of a house unsold for two years then got f*cked over by a gold digger I married and the equity on that property saved me from a world of pain. I am now on my third project in the NL of a 100 years old derelict house. I am doing mad things now but watching your channel I see I can do so much more by myself. Keep it up. We live in crazy times to navigate. We will be victorious. 💪

a couple of things , saving agreed if you can sensible, housing is a ponsie scheme however its in the interest of 50% of people (they include everyone with wealth and power) to carry on that ponsie scheme so yes it prob wont crash (much or soon ) , but i have to totally disagree with cutting people off from you who care about you , even if they say things they dont like 1 they may be right but who cares , the people who care about you are the people you want to keep close (and care about them back) i have an opp coming up who is picking me up from the hospital ? my ex who is looking after me afterwards my mum would i have been better off shedding either of them because they told me things i disagreed with , clearly not :)

Refinancing and remortgaging is fine when rates are low. This method doesn't work when cost of borrowing is high. There's been an explosion in people doing just what you've described in the last 10 years whilst rates have been cheap. I suspect this technique won't be as popular over the next 10 years. That said, learning to do it yourself is always fantastic advice in an economy where trades are in massive demand and expensive.
