Havesomevision ! Hi, my name is Chris, I have a full-time day job in the city and am currently renovating my house in London. I make videos about my house + Money.
Incredible journey with this property and so well captured in the video. This guy's vision and work ethic is an inspiration. Many thanks for such fascinating content!
Wounderful project and a truly inspiring video. Very well explained what you did and how you got it done. In the end you said you were targeting 10,000 subscribers. It's only been six months and you are now closing in on 60,000 (!). Congratulation on everything you do.
Great to see you back Chris. Life sometimes gets in the way & delays happen. How many people do the daily grind & never follow through on their ideas, aspirations or have built their own home? Keep positive & keep living your dreams!
I was thinking about your tiny house this morning and was wondering how you got on... it's as though I knew you were going to post today. What's been the reason for the delay in getting the house ready? I know you said you were trying to move in in a short time frame back in December(?). What's been the biggest challenge as of late? Good to see you posting again :)
@@susanlewis1953 he’s just so full of himself bragging about his ‘well paid job in the city’ he apparently left to pursue the property market. nobody leaves a well paid job in the city, nobody does that voluntarily. i suppose he was shite and was kindly asked to leave more like.
@@M-M-EXTRAeven if that were true, who cares????? So what???? At least he's not trolling the internet trying to kill other people's dreams ....😂😂😂 GET A LIFE MATE!!!!
The fact that you were paying above 3 grand in rent and that London living wage is just a little over 10 quid is so insane. Anyway well done for your work and thanks for the interesting insights.
"I can't afford to buy a dream house and deal with the consequences if the market falls 10%" because you're thinking about that wrong - buying the dream house is about living there for hopefully the rest of your life, it's not about selling later or what happens if the housing market crashes. You're too focused on money and its value, rather than the value of the house to your life and your families life.
I'm likely to never be in a position to be able to afford to buy a home, but love watching renovations and restorations. I really appreciate that you break down the costs, which so many just don't address at all.
Really pleased to come across with this channel - will keep me busy watching the more recent stuff. Love the young man's passion for what he does; a great example for many young folk out there ❤
Great video, sorry about your neighbours, there's always somebody who doesn't understand the concept of being a good neighbour, throw a couple of all night parties, but don't forget to invite them first...it's the neighbourly thing to do.
Thanks a lot for doing the hard work of editing and producing this for us. I am from very far but loved this video and hope to keep seeing whatever you work on.
BTW: fluorescent lights take a huge amount of electricity and will shoot your bills way up! You don't need them, especially in the basement! Instead, put in movement/motion sensor lights, so that when you start coming down the stairs, the lights go on and when you leave they will turn off after a minute or two. You don't want to accidentally forget to turn that fluorescent light off! That would be death and disaster to your monthly budget!!! So just don't have them! Don't forget to have a housewarming party, run this video on the TV screen as a quiet background, so that everyone can see the work you did. Invite that nasty neighbor, because you need to have a good relationship. Don't forget to invite at least one person from the permit board to come and see what you did. Good relationships are everything. "If you feed them, they will come!" LOL!!
WHat a nasty next door neighbor! You increased the value of their property!. If it was me, I'd make you sandwiches and beer and be glad I had such a knowlegable and helpful neighbor, instead of making you an enemy!
Um, fluorescent lighting, such as you put in the basement, will really jack up your light bill in a place where you really don't need it! "Nice effects" are not needed in the basement! Better to put that along the staircase for safety at night. But wow! A lot of work and it looks great, overall. Storage is everything. Closets, cupboards, and a back shed for your garden tools? Why expensive underfloor heating in bathrooms where you spend a very small amount of time?
Sorry it took this long to catch up with your youtube videos. I'm glad you haven't succumbed to a lack of vision. I've broken some bones as an adult so I can relate a bit. It is much easier to bear when you are a child, they are made of rubber bands. Endeavor to persevere.
