I gave up watching Football Focus as I suspect many long term viewers have. The moment I heard Dan Walker was going I knew who would get the job and it wasn't going to be the most qualified woman (Gabby Logan). The woke department chose someone who ticked all their boxes. What used to be a decent programme quickly descended into farce with regular school girl giggle fests as the presenter and one of her mates giggled like adolescents at almost anything. The Beeb is now full of DEI's (didn't earn it's) and has hastened it's direction towards a subscription service.

I have to agree with other comments. I’ve really gone off football after what happened during covid. It was a fiasco showing us that premiership players are owned by the establishment. The knee done it for me and I think my team Liverpool are the biggest culprits.

I agree with alot of what Lawro is saying but tbh he was taken off air because he was very boring to listen to. No excitement, sounded uninterested, just put me to sleep most of the time, and very very little critical analysis of the games. I was in love with the game from 7 yrs old, playing in the street, school team, going to games, Sky & BT subscriptions, 5 a side as an adult. The lot. Football died for me on 17/6/2020. Haven't watched a minute or followed anything about it since. It's utterly bizarre not knowing who plays for your team now or hearing names you've never heard before when you see an article or snippet in passing, but I wouldn't change a thing. The RU-vid comments were FULL of people in summer 2020 saying they would tear up their season tickets, burn their shirts, and cancel their Sky Sports, never to watch the game again. Not many followed through on that, glad to see some in here are Men of their words. 👌👏👍

When the Russia/Ukraine kicked of I would tune into Radio 5 live premiership football so as I could be told how to think about that horrible war whilst listening to the match.
