this would be a bit long but worth reading. i saw Tsahi Halevi (he played a Syrian music professor or something) in a new Swedish show called 'Hostage', midway through watching it became obvious that the 'hidden' massage of the show is super leftist and the 'far right' are the evil ones. the climax of that agenda was when the 'head of Swedish anti terror unit' is sitting in front of Halevi's character and asking him "is this your religion?" and quoting the famous quote from Surah 5 - 32 "whoever takes a life it will be as if he killed all of humanity" which Muslims often like to quote to show how tolerant Islam is. now lets explain the context of that quote: the first part of that verse is "That is why We ordained for the Children of Israel" - meaning this applies to Jews. and why? because its from the Talmud, and misquote at that, the Talmud is talking about whoever takes a soul, also takes the victim's entire potential future offspring, so its not all of humanity, it is the lineage (an entire world that could have existed). and why does this verse is in the Quran you ask? just read the next verse and the answer becomes clear. Surah 5 - 33: "Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and spread mischief in the land is death, crucifixion, cutting off their hands and feet on opposite sides, or exile from the land. This ˹penalty˺ is a disgrace for them in this world, and they will suffer a tremendous punishment in the Hereafter." so the entire thing is to justify why Jews should be punished in a much harsher way because of their beliefs. and i see Halevi, a former IDF anti terror SF Arabic speaking undercover unit member, a Jew, sitting in front of that FARCE of a quote. and going along with it. needless to say i screamed on the TV, hit my fist against the wall, and understood why Sweden is going down the drain. and i should mention, i saw this FARCE quote spewed all over Israeli MSM as well. ct5965 - I am totally with you. I know that quote from the Quran very well AND what comes BEFOE and AFTER that quote. Every time I hear someone quoting it I'll say: "You bloody idiot. You just parrot what you have heard! Look.it.up and see for yourself where it comes from! The whole Quran is a misunderstood jumbled and misinterpreted mess from the Old Testament and here and there contents from the New Testament thrown into it, however, often amalgamated and incorrect. All interspersed with tribal customs of the time. It is compiled by someone, the 'Messenger' supposedly, who has listened to stories, has heard the sound of the bell but has no idea where the clapper is or what it does, in other words, totally misses the point or the meaning of everything.

Thoughts on how to deradicalize Gaza, the West Bank, and other parts... When this conflict ends, have ready a coalition of member/leaders from the Abraham Accords (from the UAE, Bahrain, and Israel) team up first with regional leaders of Gaza for at least ONE year. (They should NOT affiliated with the PA, Hamas or the IR). They need to work together to begin the reconstruction of Gaza's buildings (homes, hospitals, roads, and businesses), while employing adult males. They need to overhaul the ENTIRE "educational" curriculum for all former PA-UNRWA-run schools in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem. Have at the ready a curriculum with accompanying textbooks from the UAE and Bahrain, including teachers from those areas and from Israel. Child psychologists must be on the premises. (The PA and UNRWA must NOT be a part of this.) With regard to mosques and faith, hopefully there are imams who will step up to lead with devotion and peace.
When 7th happened I thought "oh well they are fighting for so long and they are both at fault". But I was ignorant for only one day. Then I got informed. I informed myself every single day since then. And i learned about Islam like that and I was shocked how deep this antisemitic terrortunnel goes (i wanted to write rabbithole but yeah...). I agree you have to go to the "root" (education) but I'm sorry to say that if he thinks Hamas and bombs aren't the answer, neither is just "showing up" at schools - who will do that?
