I’m also a 6 (XX) and I feel oddly like it’s supposed to be secretive/ if one isn’t a teeny 3-4 or some variation of a 5 it’s like baller community to not show em off (in my psychotic brain) *theres absolutely nothing wrong with it, just an observation I’ve made & I overthink way too much - ladies: do not think it matters- your shoe size: get fitted so you’re as comfortable as possible....Look how gorgeous Alex is. Do you think you'd ever get surgery to fix your bunions? I have them and I'm not even a dancer. Sometimes they hurt and I wonder if they'd feel better after the surgery. Can't imagine how fucked my feet would be if I was.

Ballet dancing is as old as the earth! Why don’t ballet shoe manufacturers make them right in the first place? Why dancers have to do so much before they can wear them? As an engineer I can’t understand the logic?? 😟
from what i know it's if they make them too soft, there is no support and they cant get over the arches, but if its too hard they would be hard to break in
Feet vary tremendously and the most they can do is find something pretty close to what they want and go from there. Some dancers are so hard on their shoes that they might change shoes every ACT of a demanding performance.
@@jonahalthof463 It’s more about the muscles supporting you while on pointe than having generally strong ankles! Ballerinas aren’t even allowed to go on point until they’ve built up the muscles from doing demi pointe for maybe even years first. Even when they first go on pointe they have something to hold on to. Doing it incorrectly means the right muscles won’t get strengthened... meaning you can tear a muscle or maybe even break your ankle
