@@ItsFreshItsAnne. I completely misread your comment, before, so I deleted my reply. I’ve been sick, lately, and really sleep deprived. I have an infection, and I think it’s past time to go in and see if they will treat it, even though I really don’t. I fever-posted that, pretty much, in my sleep. It’s a dental abscess, and I have told the dentist for 3 years that it needs a root canal. I asked to pay to replace the crown, at that time, and many times, and they’re so busy, they weren’t even interested in the money. The tooth next to it, he took X-rays and told me it didn’t need a root canal for 2.5 years, so he wouldn’t refer me to a specialist, to have it checked out, even. I lost half of that tooth & they told me the tooth next to it couldn’t hurt, too. That’s the one that’s still infected now. I was on antibiotics, as I don’t want to end up back in the hyperbaric oxygen chamber, for jaw infection, and now doctors won’t prescribe antibiotics because they think I waited that long to go in, irresponsibly (yes, I explain). I’ve always been good for it. I can’t get another dentist, because no one is taking new Medicaid patients. My last two dentists were worse. One messed up my bite so bad, all the teeth on one side are broken, now. They looked perfect before then, because I always care for them. Anyone who thinks Medicaid recipients get everything handed to them should try it, in 2024, with complex medical issues. It’s really not worth it to get assistance, if you have a hustle you make money from, so a lot of street people don’t apply, or accept aid. Before I had a disability holding me back, I didn’t either. I know lots of people on the streets, who don’t. There are a lot of reasons people end up hustling, and it’s not just because of drug addiction. People who do dates might want to be around gangsters, for protection. I don’t know this interviewee or her family, but my sister would have been overjoyed, if I’d had children she could adopt. In the indigenous community I’m a part of, grandparents raise grandchildren traditionally. I get that some children are abandoned, but mine wouldn’t have been, even if I couldn’t be their primary caregiver. When people are suffering from a substance use disorder and don’t have family who will care for their children, that’s not something bad they did. If you’re too sick to care for children, that doesn’t mean you don’t love them. I agree with you! People should not be so quick to judge.

The black and white still portraits are always superb and add to the interview, conferring additional artistic quality to the whole presentation. I wonder how the interviewees feel having been given such a giant spotlight in their otherwise banal, "inconsequential", and troubled lives. What tortured souls we humans are. A typical artist, and though so obviously a good one, very self absorbed, very focused on his drive to produce something great, memorable and satisfying to his 'soul'. The fact that a chosen few are offered help and support is, it seems at the whim of the creator and the popularity meter or the viewers. The ' ART ' is superb at times. Maybe in the future, an organisation can be established where each and every one of these people get the sincere and serious offer of life changing support. If they then choose to turn their back on help, so be it. I really believe half of these people won't even allow themeselves to believe help offered is really REAL. Princess really got to me, I had such a roller coaster of emotions listening to her story. What an amazing lady, one who’s survived so much. Over & over, I see pretty much the same story. Dysfunctional family at best & horrific abuse at the worst. So many of these people hit the streets at 13. Their vile home lives set this whole process in motion. While Princess didn’t do sex work until her early twenties, she’d already been abused by so many in her “upright, religious” community. How do such kids ever stand a chance? If an adult person voluntarily chooses this life, that’s one thing. I can accept that as a valid life choice. However, so many of these stories don’t start that way. That is what breaks my heart. Princess is such a likeable person & I just wish life had been kinder to her. I sincerely hope she finds true happiness. Her life might not have been conventional but she’s a sincere & good person. I really hope life brings her a place of peace.

This is one thing you have to be careful of. The Rollercoaster of emotions. The push pull dynamic. It is a dysfunction, but it's something that can get people addicted to them. You may also feel sorry for them and want to help, but those are the ones that end up burning you in the end and very badly. They use their stories to get u to invest in some form or fashion. The more u invest even emotionally, the more u stick with them and they pull u under with them. It's hard not to bc u have a good heart and just want to help, and they look for people like that. The up and down emotions affect the person because they're subconsciously addicted to the chaos. They may have come from a dysfunctional home themselves but played the role of the peace keeper, the people pleaser. Just do what they want so they don't yell and argue, break things etc. This makes good people want to help them. They're addicted to trying to get THEM to see what YOU see in them. Butntheyll never see it bc they don't feel about themselves they way you want them to. So u stay longer trying and trying and it never happens. In the end you get emotionally shattered bc u became TRAUMA BONDED to them.

I tried to show her that I wouldn’t be a man who would force her into sex. I wanted an emotional connection more than a sexual receptacle. After two weeks, she withdrew her emotions. I tried to reassure her that I wasn’t a guy who would cheat on her. She withdrew even more. As she withdrew, so did I. Unfortunately she left me. Broke my heart. That person brings peace to their ancestors and spares the children that follow.” T Real 🔥 You have a choice. Be the fire fighter. Turn and face the raging inferno... she wasn't able to face. Her perceptions and opinions are flawed. She HAD an opportunity to help a child avoid the choices she's made... But she failed the opportunity. Her statements are hypocritical to you. Your perceptions are valid. Her mental health is unhealthy. None of what she's saying is real or normal. You know that. And you're stronger than she is. BE the opposite of her. She's absolutely correct. Nothing is free. She's an old soul. Strong as hell. Crazy as he'll too. She should write a book. Definitely intelligent.

I want to let you know, Princess, that you are beautiful--inside and out, worthy, intelligent, and (at least seem) 100% honest. I appreciate that so much. I'm so sorry you went through all of these events. I lost a lot of people as well, and the reasons were all over the place, such as suicide, substance abuse, overdose, cardiac arrest, eating disorders, and/or extremely severe and a multitude of chronic health issues. I feel your pain. I lost my best friend and sibling to suicide because of depression and was living at my adoptive parents' home. I was very upset when my adoptive father wouldn't ta I love the glass house reference. My parents (but mostly my mother) are narcissists who never took responsibility or accountability for any of the trauma I experienced as a child, and that experience followed me. No one knew about the verbal/mental and somewhat physical abuse, but you better bet she deflected. Good times ;-) It's funny; everyone always tells me I should write a book due to all of the insane, traumatic, and unbelievable things that have happened in my life. You *should* write a book/memoir. Thank you again for your candor and detailed answers without avoiding the truth.

Her interview is the first one I've believed in probably the last 3 months. I relate to Sonya, I was homeless and addicted to crystal and heroin on the streets of Seattle for awhile, no one checking up on me, parents hadn't talked to me in years at that point. Men prey on women probably 80 percent more if they are caught without another dude. I always tried to have my boyfriend around me but sometimes he'd be in jail or we would get separated for days. Women experience homelessness are so susceptible to murder and rape. I've seen some crazy fucked up stuff on the street. This girl has balls, she needs to get out.

This lady has an amazing personality, all that she has been through , she’s still soft. She needs to take her own advice and love herself enough to change into her true self.🌸she’s beautiful inside and out.🌸

Rather than demanding this woman (and countless others) take all of the responsibility for where they end up, let's also hold men responsible. The amount of women who have stories like these is heartbreaking, disgusting, disturbing (you pick your word). And it needs to change. Men, you can do better. Do better. Start now. Today. Take responsibility. Be men worthy of the respect you command!

80% of the viewers here are women. And despite some being very positive and supportive, their is a overwhelming number of women here that are obnoxious and extremely judgmental of the guests sharing their stories. My wife watches them and sees some comments as well, and has shared the same sentiments with me. Women should support themselves, be better themselves, and be better for others. Men should do the same. Trying to shift “moral responsibility” onto men is futile, when women can’t be responsible and supportive of themselves first. I’m a cis male, married with children. I see this woman and it breaks my heart. I want to jump into the screen and just save her. And I instantly think about my daughters. Then I read a handful of comments from women who are posting such negative comments about these women. The change you want starts with you. You want men to respect you, first respect yourself. When men read these comments seeing other women disrespecting this female guest, you think men are going to come along and do something different because of your comment? Your energy would be better served 1) speaking positively about these women, and 2) not bashing these women. She has a child who surely has access to YT and will read how nasty some women are to her own mom. It’s deplorable.

The pain is real. The chance she has mental health issues is very probable. If she continues on the path of self care and sobriety she will make it. She is so strong. Believe in yourself and you will succeed.
