@@yopizzy The problem is, most people watch his channel with their "logic" glasses on, so when listening to some of these stories, the second the interviewee stops making sence, or contrsdicts themselves, its too easy to project your own critical thinking, and common sence onto them, and dismiss the intervewee as crazy. You gotta be able to suspend disbelief.

Yeah that part is sad, I've learned no matter how tough the exterior everyone has a heart and feels pain and has to process in whatever way they can, almost hurts to watch, people that take advantage of little kids are scum.

The beginning of her story was so triggering for me...I had an experience at the age of about 5-6yrs old where an older girl (she was probably 10 or 11...I know for sure she was in 5th grade, I was in 1st). She invited me to her house to play after school, and asked me if I wanted to play "doctor" with her...I agreed and she attempted to touch me inappropriately...and I immediately said I had to go back home ( at that age my parents constantly taught me about appropriate and inappropriate touch and how I needed to tell them if ANYONE ever touched me in the wrong way). I told my parents about what happened and they reached out to the girls mother to talk to her about what happened. I remember going over to their house to talk about it...my parents took me but the other girl was not present, it was just her mother. Her mother just seemed so nonchalant about it, or as if it wasn't a concern at all.

It doesn’t matter how many jobs you have, how busy you are. It is important really important to monitor your kids. Five minutes conversation with them makes a difference. Be firm when you discipline but don’t let it get to a point where they would be scared to tell you things. Check your baby’s body when your bathing them, ask questions, monitor their behaviors. Abuse changes people it kills the real them and we all see it but just don’t take time out to ask or even investigate... sick world we live in seriously.
There’s still a scared little 6yr old in there. Her innocence was taken so young and she had to grow up hella fast... Sad to watch.. she could put that hustle mentality to good use.

A term comes to mind called “splitting” that refers to when you dissociate & spilt that part of your life into a certain personality. It helps when the ego has been traumatically fractured.
I don't think Mark makes these docuseries for us to judge, but to take a look at humans as a whole. Your story is not my story, and vise versa. I don't condone what she is doing, but I cannot hate or judge her.

She never said she didn’t have money to bury her son. She said she didnt have the money to give him the burial she felt he deserved meaning she wanted to go above and beyond which I understand. She doesn’t want to have a regular funeral she wants to go all out or not at all
Thank you, people are so quick to take one thing and run with it. She said she has money, jewelry, a nice ride with "20 inch rims" in the beginning of the interview only to say in the end that her mother had to buy the ashes back because she didn't have the money for it...then when asked about her 10 year old son she acts like that son doesn't matter as much as the one that passed. She still has a 10 year old to take care of but say's now that her older son has passed she "doesn't give a fuck anymore". I feel for her 10 year old that is STILL here...he need's her now more than ever while he is growing up but it sound's like she could care less right now.

I’m a addict but I’ve been clean off heroin and fent and opiates. Periodically I will slip on a Xanax or Adderall or Coke during a weekend of drinking.... but listen when I’m in a bad place I always come back to your channel to remind myself that there’s ups and downs but seeing these broken women and men always helps remind myself that it’s not worth the fent or heroin ever. Parents watch your children at all times. Especially the ones subject to working just to stay above water. Desperate for a babysitter to go work for 10 hours a day. We see nice faces but with evil intentions.
My sister and I were both molested by two of our babysitters. I love my parents and they both worked long hours & always made sure we were taken care of even when they were struggling. One thing I regret most in life was telling them about it 20 years later. The heart break I watched in both my parent's faces makes me nauseous just thinking about. Even though I have tried to make it a point that it was not their faults at all I kinda feel like they may not look at it that way. A few months after telling them my sister also opened up to them about her also being molested. I'm not sure what my point of telling yall this is but maybe it's for comfort or even advice. The guilt I have from telling them still eats me up.
Agree. I purposely cut my hours at work too avoid putting my child in someone elses care. I always told myself I'll wait until she can speak and tell me if anything is wrong.
Lindsey Sloan I’m so sorry this happened to you I’ve experienced the same trauma except it was my step father who I loved and trusted, I carry his last name which I will NEVER pass on to my children and have put some thought into getting my name changed as well. But please know that It WAS NOT YOUR FAULT, IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT, AND IT WAS NOT YOUR PARENTS FAULT EITHER. WHOEVER THE PERSON WAS THAT DID THAT TO YOU, THE BLAME AND SHAME AND GUILT SHOULD LIE SOLELY WITH THEM AND THEM ONLY! I know from experience this is easier said than done and I still struggle with PTSD to this day but please get therapy if you can it’s the best way to work through the fucked up shit we have survived throughout our lives. This woman is truly hurt and it shows when she talks about her deceased son. Even with all the negativity she brings, I still have sympathy for her and hope positivity finds her.
She doesn't sound so broken when she talks about her new car and jewellery. Or when she's talking about her hoes giving her all their money. Or when she talks about straightening out her hair and drinking champagne. To me she comes across as very together, cynical, materialistic and bragging.
I've been through some horrible trauma too as a child into my teenage years, I turned to drugs and thanks to Jesus Christ I'm recovering today for a few years. Some of us turn to positive behavior but the bulk of us turn to the streets and there's no 1 act worse than the other. We can't judge unless we r perfect. I was scared to tell my parents, even though they told me I could tell them anything but they said it so serious I thought I would still get in trouble, they make it feel like you’re doing something wrong. Just tell your kids in a loving warm way and let them know they’ll never get in trouble, the other people will promise your babies that and just pay attention.
Most of the time children don’t tell parents out of fear of getting in trouble and being shamed. Abusers are excellent at manipulating and black mailing children.
Alot of these comments are so judgmental. He does these videos to show us every perspective in life. To learn from. To hear different people with different backgrounds. Maybe if you listen instead of judge you will learn something. Only God sits high and looks low. Never judge what you have not been through or you will see what life has in store for you. It's human nature to judge, just like you're doing by writing these comments. You don't know what's behind what makes people comment as they do. Maybe they're being "brave" by expressing themselves. It's like the mom whose child has come to her saying he/she has been molested and she wants so badly to be with the man she ignores her own children. I can't have sympathy for these types of females. Laura C this mentality is worse. The idea that a woman is worse as if men can’t understand how a woman feels when it comes to abuse and sexual abuse is ridiculous. Those feelings are human not male or female. Just as many men who were victims of abuse go on to abuse the same way they were abused. Women who do that are just the same as them, no worse. Those men who use women know how those women feel. At some point a women gets strong enough to say no more even if she returns to her abuser. Do not categorize or expect more from women than you do from men. This is why we are many of positions we are in in our society.
I'm glad this interviewer gave her a chance to bare her soul. I'm sure hardly anyone she encounters on a consistent basis listens to her story or knows anything that she holds inside.

How many times I hear abuse survivors saying that they did not tell anything to their parents or guardians for fear of being punished... that's awful. Hopefully it's different nowadays, at least in most cases

She has a hard time because it is not her first language. I live in Chile and for people from Latin America is kind of complicated to speak proper English without losing your breath. Also, when it comes to phonetics and how to modulate the words, we have to adjust our jaw because the sounds are different than our Latin sounds so she having a hard time its pretty normal
