Im assuming the two mustangs on the track are Brian Simo and Tommy Kendall's old cars. My dad raced with them in the Trans Am series back in the day. Glad to see they were not put to rest
@rlgdestroyu The mid 90s vintage TA cars, like this one, make between 600 and 700bhp. We had our 310ci motor in the car this weekend, and it makes 615bhp. This car's 348ci motor makes right around 700bhp. Some of the newer SCCA GT1/TA cars have NASCAR Cup motors and can make 850+bhp!!!
@dreamakerkid It's a 1993 Riley & Scott chassis with 1994 Mustang bodywork. This was actually driven by Michael Dingman and then a test car for Roush driven by Kendall.
'Bout time we saw some more videos!! What place did you finish? Im guessing 1st or 2nd - because that Mustang that looks like Mark Martin's old '90s Ford NASCAR race car (paint-wise) kinda disappered. xD Hopefully more to come!! =D
@rtrestorations We get some good cars up here(had williams fw07's and the like one year)but vintage racing really needs a swift kick in the azz in Canaduh!!
So in 2010 Tommy Kendall's All Sport Mustang, Brian Simo's Valvoline Mustang, Larry Schumacher's 993 GT2, and Buddy Cisar's Camaro all show up to the party but in 2011 the fastest car out there was the Hazardous 996 that you all dusted off lap 1? Did none of these fast cars come back the next year?
