My ex says there is no chance of getting back together. My ex told me to stop trying and there's no chance of getting back together. You're in shock, but you shouldn't be. This is normal and should be expected, especially when emotions are high. It doesn't make any sense to say anything other than this right after a breakup.
So you must give your ex a bit of space because what they are trying to tell you is that they need their space and you need to leave them alone. At that moment, your ex is hurt and is disappointed. Abby. You’re right! I’ve been doing so much better. Growing in patience and Cody responds well to it. He will still will at times start to pull away again and say he doesn’t know if he can trust the past, he doesn’t know where he is at, but I have been doing great not getting emotional about it this time. :) now I’m working on giving him space but still working on slowly rebuilding the connection. This video is the best out there! I am on week 5 of giving her space, the only time she contacted me was for her stuff, that was a week after she broke up with me. I did let her down, when she needed support, I was too obsessed with my life more than hers. That reality hit me, but I took ownership and gave her space. She sent me a wonderful text after collecting her things but when she broke up with me, her word " I will never take you back, somethings can't be undone ". That hit me hard because we were both very much in love. Anyway, space, giving her time to miss me and maybe the Universe and timing will work in the future. However for now, it's me, being respectful to her but also myself.

She said the same thing, plus the I dont love you any more line. What throws me is during the classy break up text, she was insistent on me getting my stuff and returning her key. It was to the point she even would even bring my stuff to me the weekend of the break up, dumping. The latter part happened a month ago and no contact from her since. She either has an "oh well" attitude or maybe she isnt as done as she thinks or stated? Anyone have a clue on this mixed signal? BTW we were together for five years and just had taken a fun trip to Vermont about a week or so before the break up. TIA

Its been 3 weeks since she left and im on day 9 of no contact. The words "we're never getting back" were probably the most painful words ive ever heard her say. Its almost like she was another person and that hurt even more. Im trying to stay strong but everytime i feel myself trying to let go it only drags me down further. The last words she said to me before blocking me were "I love you too". Im in turmoil and trying to push forward. I was saving money without her knowing to buy be able to buy a home for us. I never told her and the whole time i was sacrificing dates and vacation trips to reach that goal and surprise her. I knew it was dwindling and i started doing little things for her but i was already too late. Ive never in 39 years felt the way i do right now and never knew all the things i now know about her and myself. I guess the moral of the story here is to just focus on the moment in front of you.

My wife was detached and told me she never wants to get a divorce, and never wants to be with me again, I made the mistake of pleading and begging trying to see why and she told me we are not compatable. It all came overnight 1 day we were happy the next we argued and she said we argue too much. Long story short she said she hates seeing me in pain and now I have to move back to my moms house out of state , gonna try no contact. I hope she sees the problems we had were just mole hills and not mountains. I pray she comes back to me.

Coach Abbey my ex has said mean and extremely hurtful things to me. While in our break up fight he said that he is going to block me. However a few days later, he helped me with a bank transaction (I am currently overseas) I asked why he had not blocked me yet. His response was " I can't that's too much effort" Is this a positive thing?

I have a question, we were together for a year, he broke up with me, then he said I was the person he hates most after a big fight. I tried to text him a couple times after that. He barely responded and at last he told me to stop messaging him cuz I made him break down that night. And he deleted my social media, except phone number. Very true. My ex and I have gotten back together several times but nothing changes. I'm at the point where I don't know if its possible to make things change. I have tried avoiding fights over and over again but that builds up inside and then you blow. Sometimes you love someone and still have to let go even if you don't want to.

Abby, what if he's gone back and forth on the idea of reconciliation for 3 months, but ultimately told me that we can't repair things? We were supposed to meet up next weekend after many weeks of no contact. I gave him time and space as he had requested. He said he has made some emotional and mental progress over those few weeks/months and he doesn't want to fiddle with what he's been able to establish and fall into a mental slump again by seeing me. I know he suffered a lot too after the breakup even if he's the dumper. How can I rebuild trust/connection with him if he's refusing to see me period? And I can't even blame it on the breakup being fresh. I am spiraling...

Does this work if you two have already made up to break up so many times and now he's done for real this time and has gotten into a new relationship.. I begged.. blew up his phone.. he had his new girlfriend pick up and I exposed him as a really bad guy to her. He also got a friend to contact me to get me to leave him alone. I finally left him alone and it's been a week. I think I ruined things for good unfortunately. He absolutely hates me and said he's so much happier without me.

After I broke up with my ex, she had many issues in her life and has been prescribed with Xanax for 10 month with a dayli consumtion. 6 Months after the break up I started to reach out to her again but she seemed like another person. She did not exept me again and is now in a relationship with another guy. She will keep taking the Xanax until june. I do not understand why she could not forgive me also because I had some serious problems with my family when I broke up with her.(wich I then explained her) But as I said before since she takes the Xanax she seems like another person and I can not believe that she Is already ower me after 6 months. Our Realtionship almost lasted a year and we both were in love at each other. (She told me that she loved me very often) Now, I do not know what would be the smartest move to do if I ever wanna be with her again. The break up was in july 2019

My ex broke up with me about a month ago because she thinks she's too busy for a relationship right now, but said she still loves me as a friend (debatable considering I felt like I was reaching out most of the time in the month since she did it). We still see each other now and then cause we go to uni together and still chat casually every other day or so. However, she reminded me today that she still loves me as a friend and I told her it was real low of her to break up with me over text rather than doing it in person. She then said that if she ever thinks of us getting back together, I just ruined it by saying that. Think I'm gonna just do no contact now. My question is basically, does she really mean it and I should just move on or is there even a slight chance?

Coach, I have done the whole process. No contact, work on myself, a well thought out accountability letter sent and well received. I don’t know where to go from here. No contact was ended as I felt ready and sent the letter. I don’t know what to do next as I don’t want to ruin all my hard work by making a silly mistake. I feel good again but never whole. There are no videos I can find on after the accountability letter either. Thank you for all your help so far, don’t know where I would be without this team personally !

Louise did he/she respond to the letter? If not I would just go back into no contact... I’m not sure where you read about this accountability letter but there’s probably a reason why you don’t see much about it... it’s not a good idea. You already sent it though so if he hasn’t responded just go back into no contact and wait until he does.. Laura what do you mean by good? First of all, you shouldn’t have reached out to him. No contact means no contact no matter what..so going forward make sure he is the one to reach out first. Also, please don’t wait around hoping he’s going to,contact... you kind of set yourself up for that never ending cycle of “when is he going contact” ... a constant stream of hope... try to move on.. if he contacts great if not you will feel better. I’m 4 months no contact...I’ve come to terms with the fact that I will,probably never hear from him again... I feel so much better about it now but it took me about 3 months... now I’m like eh... was helped me was staying away from all his social media accounts... ALL OF THEM and NO PEEKING..not once.. no contact, no sad songs and take him down of any pedestals you have him on... good luck :)

This is a long comment tho. I was a subscriber here and just now my ex called me in skype after months of break up and NC. I just answer the call when the notification of this video pop up and I was like in my mind "Gosh is this a sign?" I wasn't wrong!!! He told me that he don't want to be with me anymore and I should find someone else because he is falling in love to someone (They are still NOT dating yet.) BTW we were LDR and we never met in person yet for how many years and the person he is falling in love to is mutual friend so they already hangout in some gathering. He told me that he still care for me but there is no romantic love anymore. What should I do? Should I give up already? And I am also confuse because I was just sad for a minute when he told me that but now it feels that I am okay. I am totally lost now of what is happening in my feelings.

I totally believe this works. I had a girl who was begging me to marry her. Out of the blue, she ghosted me and was gone. The only thing she said was MAYBE we could be friends later. Everything else a total mystery. I just realized after almost two years I'm blocked on more things than i thought. No goodbye no nothing. She's gone. We had no fights, no arguments ever. It makes me wonder what makes people stay away and what makes them return. The mind is such a mystery.

I left it alone and never asked what happened, I literally went radio silent and matched him. I’m on day 26 of no contact and still haven’t heard from him. Is that bad or still too soon? I don’t want to reach out ever, he needs to initiate.
