My ex-husband worked at Trump Plaza in F&B Mgt., they were having a tasting of new menu items for the execs, Trump and his guests of all the new items for the menus in various restaurants throughout the casino. My husband had the people who were responsible for creating the dishes standing with their presentations in order to answer any questions about prep, ingredients, etc. However, when there were a few black chefs standing there, he was told to have them go in the kitchen and create more of their dishes. There was no need to do this because there was plenty of back-up. Also there were other cooks already in the kitchen to do so if needed. The head of F&B Mgt. actually said to my ex that Trump didn't want to see any black chefs making his food and if he did, heads would roll. They had to be hidden in the kitchen! He gave his resignation a few weeks later after getting another job offer. He was also told if he said anything about what had happened he'd be blacklisted in Atlantic City. However, the casino where he was hired was already aware of why he left because he told them the truth at his interview before accepting the job because he didn't want to experience the same bullshit again. They were well aware of Trump's reputation. Trump Plaza tried to ruin him but they didn't get away with it. He rose through the ranks, anyway, despite the attempts of Trump's lackeys. Trump using those words on Omarosa doesn't mean he's a racist. He's just lashing it at anyone who's even a little bit critic of him, like he always does. The guy is so insecure he cannot tolerate anything that is not propaganda of his "greatness". It doesn't mean he isn't a racist. Many other comments (like his attacks on the dead military family, his support of white nationalists, etc.) show that he is one. But the way he treated Omarosa in those tweets is clearly not one of them. Even if she was white, even if she was a guy, he would probably have said the same thing
