I’ve heard Chris Gunness being interviewed by Owen jones recently. The man has a huge amount of knowledge and experience in this area. It’s always great to hear him speak. He did say that the best future for UNRWA was to gain contributions from as many Arab states as possible, which means that the need to get funding from the west would be gone, or at least reduced hugely.

My son-in-law is from Gaza, he went to the UNRWA school from k-12. He got a very good education not only in a core curriculum, but also learned practical skills, such as, carpentry and plumbing. He now has a post-doctorate, and is doing very well, thanks, firstly to God , and then UNRWA schools. Pulling support from UNRWA is indeed aiding and abetting Israel's sick agenda of starving the population in Gaza.

Starvation is a massacre in slow motion. And unlike shooting or bombing, the dying continues for weeks even if killing is halted. What international investment opportunities do you think exist under these conditions to improve & develop Gaza's economy? The main problem is that we don't have international institutions that can persue politicians who violate the law other than in a symbolic manner. Most recent example: The ICJ ruling does not have any concrete consequences for the accused.

You are not reading the news! Aided by the UN and its affiliates the foreign aid has been given to the Palestinians for 75+ years. They voted for Hamas and that is who got the money. They did not share with the civilians, but the civilians did not rise up against them either. In view of the exposure they cannot blame the Western countries for pausing aid...those countries could use that money for their own people who were given no explanation about the aid that came out of their taxes. Food aid is still being sent. However,k all money aid should be stopped and I am sure they understand why this has to be done. UN have to be disbanded and all corp and private aid should be examined as well....stop the crooks.

Perhaps all the staff who work in the American organisations NSA and CIA have all been on holiday somewhere for the last 5 or 6 months and haven't had time to look into what is happening in the middle east.
