I want people to know that I had the chance to chat with Chris quite a few yrs ago at NAMM and I still remember that conversation to this day. I approached him as he was walking in (a giant!) and I was leaving. Naturally I thought it would be a quick, hey dude and then he'd be gone but It was different. He stopped and shook my hand, pulled me to the side and then he asked about "me?"..........yeah, me. There was no rock star I'm too good to talk to you or ego. He was a genuine cat that gave this dude some time in his busy day for a few words between guitar players. It was cool. Never forget it. Best wishes and Godspeed to you Chris.

@@kevinburton5323 obviously you don't. that's cool. i just wanted to share a story about a cool moment. growing up with these cats and seeing health issues arise you just reflect. life is short, good to reflect on the good times brother and share positive stories to others who maybe haven't had the opportunity to meet Chris. he's a solid cat and that deserves to be known. I once saw WASP in the 90's. After the show, some of us went outside where the tour bus was parked behind a fence. As each member came out of the venue to enter the bus, we would yell to them asking for an autograph. The only member who actually came over to us and signed whatever we had was Chris. I always remembered that and thought how cool that was. Chris, I hope you have a complete recovery and many more great years ahead of you.

Guys got a habit of spitting. Like he did on me and my friends in Corpus Christi Tx when they played with Kiss. And Blackey poured his beer on us off the balcony of the hotel all because we asked if they'd sign an autograph. I could give 2 shits about this lowlife. Shit band anyways.

Hang in there, Chris! I met you at the Brewster's Pub show, in Amarillo, Tx. I guess, it was '99 or 2000, 2001 at latest. You wrote something hilarious on the bar napkin you signed for me. I don't remember whether I got a photo with you, but you were a hoot. Stet & Mike were super cool, as well. Stet was a hilarious guy, as well. Anyhow, you just focus on healing up, man! I once lived with Chris in Montrose Ca. Chris let me have a place to live when I had no home, Chris loved me like a brother he showed me so much about Being a entertainer took me to many concerts took me on stage with Iron madden I will always remember Chris and always have love for a beautiful man I’m glad your getting better Love you Chris Randy O ❤️👊🏻

The interest in motors and cars and motorcycles is big in Sweden but unfortunately the authorities is working against the interest. And yes American cars is a very big interest overall here. both real musclecars and oldies from the fifties is very popular here. we have some veteranrallys in the summer both for cars and motorcycles and even tractors and mopeds. we have several motortracks for cars and motorcycles and motorcross and rallys at old roads. Winterrally sends all over the world. myself loves to ride ride my GSX 1400 as much as I can. ill check your RU-vid channel. Have a nice day and rock on 👋

Chris I just finished my Chemo and Radiation treatments about 6 months ago, 5 days a week double whammy, Laryngeal cancer...it's rough man! Hang in there and stay Positive, I am feeling so much better now than before, the Mind is a very Powerful Healer, God Bless you brother! We're ALL with You \m/

I've had several close relatives go through all the nasty Cancer treatments myself. I was lucky enough to catch it in time & that having the surgery was all I needed. No chemo or radiation to follow, thank God!! You're certainly not alone & we wish you the best! Sending much love & prayers your way. God speed towards a full recovery Chris.

Hi Chris, my heart is with you. My wife went through something similar about 7 years ago and she battled through it like you are doing and now she is healthier than she ever was in her life because she eats and exercises to be super-healthy to help prevent it from ever coming back and I know you could do it too. About a year-and-a-half I commented to one of the interviews that you did that you would probably look twenty years younger if you shaved your beard off, I didn't want it to come off under these circumstances, but if you shaved your stash it would complete the look. So glad you are working through this and going to be touring again. Listen to your doctors and your wife and just concentrate on getting better.

Chris is my idol! I love this guy! I haven't been able to see him in person yet, but I was lucky enough to have a chance for 2 hours Skype lesson on my birthday a couple years ago! I clarified some of the solos, which fingering looked weird to me when playing by ear. He was kind enough to re-learn the solo on the spot and explain how it works. Hoping for a speedy recovery, Chris!
