A little wonder around Wheal Owles, used as 'Wheal Leisure' in the 2015 series of Poldark. The setting on the top of tall majestic cliffs near St Just. Easily accessible we marry up images from Poldark filming and prove this is the exact mine engine house used.
We also visit the beautiful Crown Engine Houses, used as Wheal Grambler, the min owned by Francis Poldark.

I enjoy watching Poldark, as well as many other British Programs. Thankfully we are able to watch, such programs in the USA. US television has much to be desired. This tour was well done, and the views are spectacular. Thank you for the wonderful tour.

Wonderful. I did a watercolour painting of the mines at my local Looe art class ( and sold it !!). Wonder where it is now. Once had a lovely meal at the Count House, a few years ago. I watch the original Poldark series, made me move to Cornwall.

there is a converted tin mine now a house at tregurtha downs i think it is near marazion its now someones house would be great if you could film that 👍

Hi i have recently took a vacation in Cornwall visited Botallak mine engine houses... i think that scene depicts Cornwall ... but i din't know that is where they filmed the engine house scenes {{ thanks for reminding us of such a lovely holiday}} shall keep this download safe n sound.... have subscribed and clicked the bell{{{ See Ya ...... @@CornishWalkingTrails Hi thanks for the reply that's so nice of you guys....the vacation was a double... did some ancestor tracing as well as visiting Hayle Carbis Bay....and Lelant and Geavor ?? spelt wrong ??? my son took photos of Batallack Mousehole... and Godrevy lighthouse those photos now hang in my house everyone asks where are those places ?? now im thinking of promoting Cornwall here in Beverly Hills ...i have eminence interest from the film personal ..... i am now retired and so are most of my friends ex film actors and actresses producers ...they all seem to think it would work here... we shall see!... in the meantime back on the ranch... i thank you....merry christmas to you all.....................Ed
