SO NICE to see folks together again...you can just feel Dr. Barnard's energy and enthusiasm at this conference! My pediatrician was a big fan of Dr. Spock's and recommended starting my boys out on VEGGIES first....not fruits once they were off breast-milk.

I wish I could have been there! There was no way for me to go, this year, but I can and will look up those recipes and make some of that amazing food for myself and my family! And how cool about the French chef!! I would love to hear a follow up with him, so see what he thought of it all, and if it will influence his cooking, at all!
My sister has asked me to submit a question on her behalf, if possible. She is an amazing 73 yr old, athletic and WFPB. But 3 days ago had a bad accident on a downhill run and sadly broke her femur. She is in the hospital hoping to be released today. Here is her question for Dr. Barnard: how can she best supplement her diet to support bone health and healing? Long recovery ahead. 3 to 6 months.
OMG....broken femur is a BIG DEAL....co-worker broke hers in horseback riding mishap last summer (guess what, the horse reared up....folks should NOT ride horses...they are askeered of a moth or a mouse or whatever!)....they had to airlift her off the mountain.....it HAS been a long haul for sure. I hope that your sister heals as best as possible....wishing her the best!
