I was vegan for twelve years solely for ethical reasons towards other animal species and the planet, but I couldn't take all the intestinal problems it caused me anymore. So, I decided to reintroduce the least cruel animal sources possible: fish, shellfish, and the occasional egg. However, my diet is still predominantly vegetarian. Despite following all the precautions suggested by scientists like Dr. Greger and Dr. Bulsiewicz, I continue to have issues that completely disappeared during the short period I was fully carnivorous. However, the reasons for following a vegan diet outweigh the discomfort I have to endure.

We have been 100% vegan for over 30 years and we do not consume coconut oil or any unhealthy products, sugar, refined oils, white flour and processed products, etc. My wife has had a cholesterol level of 250 all this time. Great story. One thought….If you’re really trying to stay raw, I would say to be very careful going back to eating the the cooked food. It can be an extremely slippery slope as I’ve learned from painful experience. I realize it’s very tempting to try and put it back into your life and still be healthy but unfortunately, it just doesn’t work that way. We’re simply not designed to eat cooked food. It denatures and deranges the food and in turn the food does the same to us. Do some research on the Heatox project in Israel to learn more about just how damaging it is to our bodies. Up to you of course, cooked Vegan is certainly better than a cheeseburger from McDonald’s. But if you really want to be as healthy as you can, you’ve got to cut it out of your life. I realize it’s not easy. I’ve been at this for many years and I still struggle with it at times..

I had hot flashes on my vegetarian diet; neither of my parents nor I had diabetes. Something about menopause affects temperature regulation. I was too cold one moment and then too hot the next moment. Yes. The SOS vegan diet (without a daily bean intake) does appear to reduce most of the hot flashes. I I wish I would have went vegan when I was young.

Dr. Avi and his colleague aren't buying it and they say that more research is needed to prove reversal. Questions arise regarding the definition of "reversal," etc. This video is for cardiologists and I hope you find it compelling.
The best way to stay healthy during menopause is to get healthy before menopause, building muscle Mass, eating clean, carbohydrates and building a good cardio level from running fivek’s is a good way to start, Carbs FTW!! 💪💪💪
It should be made abundantly clear by dieticians that whole food-plant based is healthier than Mediterranean, even if Mediterranean is healthier than standard western diet.
I’m blood type O and am a life long vegetarian. I’ve NEVER had meat. I feel great and am in excellent health. I am very active. I think it’s about you understanding your own body and knowing how foods make you feel/ function. Listen to your body.
There are doctors that argue both sides of the egg issue. Stop inviting just one doctor to talk their side. Have two of them talk it out. We will see how confused THEY really are.

these guys are painting a rosy picture of all the variety available to us newbies. i can't find many ingredients at our local grocery stores and if u can't tolerate beans and/or garlic/onions, it can feel daunting. i'm sticking w/ it for now but it's testing my fortitude lol
Plant-based protein are the worst protein to consume. That’s why sometimes when you eat a nut, you’ll sometimes see it in your stool undigested. That means your body didn’t use it for anything while on the other hand if you eat a steak your body will take longer to digest because it absorbing all the nutrient.
Of course you going to loose weight on a plant base diet, it’s just caloric deficiency, but will your body be optimal and healthier is another story. Just because you loose weight doesn’t mean your healthier 👎🏾
