I will finish this later as I want to paint it too - I could not find a suitable color match for the paint today so will get the specific paint code mixed up at a later date.

The power connection shown in this video is incorrect, however it worked for the purposes of the demonstration.

I have a problem with my mono wiper on 300E 24. When I turn on, and then turn off, when it finishes his movement sometimes his final position is OK and sometimes is not OK. I mean, it's supposed to finish his movement in a "short position" (sorry about my English) but in my case it's random and most of the times his final position is large so the mono wiper get out of my front window. I hope you understand my explanation. Thank you

Dj Campos if the wiper is not returning to home position randomly you almost certainly have issues with the contacts inside the monowiper itself. If you are saying the shortening and lengthening is getting out of synchronisation then you will have stripped gear inside. I would find another mono wiper, clean and lube it and install it.

@@MMWA-DAVE Ok thank you very much. One more question... When I am testing duty cicle with a multimeter, I got with key ON motor OFF 50% value (6,50V more or less, half of battery) And when I turn on the car, it has same value, but after few minutes at idle I read 0V... What does it mean? I'm going to replace my o2 sensor also, because I was testing it and his value didn't change from 0 - 1V, it was always 0.09V so I think o2 sensor is broken. Thank you very much for your answer!

Dj Campos key on engine off should not be 50% unless the coolant temperature is between 70c and 100c. It should be 30% on a cold engine. And MB duty cycle is measurement of OFF time. You really need a duty cycle meter. 0% after warmup means ecu has lost control and given up - mixture is too rich.

@@MMWA-DAVE Exactly. My mixture is rich on o2. It has more o2 than fuel. I think problem is o2 sensor. Will replace it this week. I hope it works. Thank, nice videos.

@@MMWA-DAVE To get the % on reading (using voltimeter) I use this formula: 1 - (readingPin3To2 / readingPin6To2) * 100

Did you replace the big rubber seal?

I was wondering that too. I have a 2001 e320 which I think is a w220. I'm not sure of these body numbers but my rubber seal is really bad. I have a new one but I'm just not sure how much I have to take apart to get at it. I have been watching as many of these videos as I can find but no one shows that. I guess I'm just going to have to take the whole unit out and figure it out. What a bloody awful design.

Me too almost cut my fingers in half to lubricate my monowiper
