A worked example going through a solution for the following problem.
A steel plate, which is fastened by a group of bolts, is subject to a 30kN load as shown below. All dimensions are in mm.
a) Calculate the centroid of the bolt group
b) Identify the bolt with the maximum load acting on it
c) Determine the maximum load acting on the bolt
d) Calculate the size of bolts required if the allowable shear stress in a bolt is 190MPa

So basically what You did to obtain the formula for f(T,n) was moving the dA component in the tau equation to the left side (because tau x dA = f(T,n))?

Why torque due to shear force from the centroid was not included in to to the bolt torques !?

Can you confirm what you mean here as I believe it has been included but we have used the principle of superposition. ie I have dealt with the shear force and the torque force separately, then added their contributions afterwards.
