This video entails a personal dream I had and my interpretation on it based on what I originally thought and then how I understand it after reading Jung. Both interpretations are helpful and have some truth.
Your interpretations (like mine) can seem/be contradictory (seeing the Father as negative/abusive vs. seeing the Father as personal animus that is trying to help), but I think it gets at the nature of a paradox. From Jung's perspective, the deepest truths of the universe are paradoxical.
