I wouldnt call it a "7 carat spread" It is cut correctly verse many stones that are cut with weight in mind. The cut contribues quite a bit to not only the overall look but even enhances the appearance of saturation of color.
I have yet even a differant situation, i have very limited money. i still would rather have .25ct or even .1205 ct of as high of quality of stone as i can afford, than 25 full ct's worth of low end poor quality stone . I know .5 is better and real investment doesnt start until a full ct. I love that pear cut.also the matched sets ever so slightly more blue color is amazing. I appreciate that the setting you chose was platinum . yellow gold gets boring ...except the value. The value of yellow gold never gets boring.lol. so if i were to write an email, did you save any of the rough that was cut off in preform ? As i said id rather have a tiny chunk of great stone than a big ol' stone from the "cra po lah" collection...which i believe is considered leverite.
I usually am cursed with very expensive taste, but I must say I am partial to the green emeralds of Zambia as opposed to the bluer ones from Columbia. Maybe that’s lucky.

Hello, Emeralds are not heat treated, that is a term used for Sapphire and Ruby treatments. Although some heat is used to loosen the cedar oil, emeralds cannot withstand high heat. About 98%-99% of the world's emeralds are treated in some way. Even when faceting, the emeralds can sometime retain some of the wax resin, resulting as grading of F1-F2 in some labs, even they have never been treated with any oils.

I’m so sad on the picture it was a good quality and they Sended shit and he believed it even … I feel like a death person …. For gods sake . 0.5 carat emerald … small not translusent .
